This fishing rod kit is amazing! It comes with everything you would need to fish well. You can literally take this case to the lake and start fishing right away. I've always wanted one and I am beyond happy with this! It also comes with fishing line and hooks so you are able to use it right out of the package. The fishing line that comes with it is also very high grade material and isn't like the cheap line you see at fishing shops. I just think this is way too cool. It's rally quite small when collapsed and extended into a surprising length. It's very easy to just throw in my back pack and head out. Of course the weight limit on your catch isn't very heavy but heavy enough for a fish. This is so amazing I can't get over it. I'm buying another for my dad and brothers. If you are in the market for a high-quality fishing rod package I would recommend this highly as I have used it and it is very impressive.

I am very impressed with this rod! Amazing what can you get for the money these days. The rod is strong yet practical. The reel works and looks just as my other more expensive reel. I caught many fish. Then only drawback is that the tip is not white or reflective, which would make it easier to be seen in the dark. On the other hand the extendable handle is something that the other even more expensive telescopic rods don't have, which is why I went for this one and it really makes a difference..esp when you are pulling a big fish out and need to hold the rod in both hands.

We ordered this to do a little bit of river fishing whilst away at a cottage.All of the bits that came with the rod were rubbish, they had melted into each other so were totally useless. The rod itself snapped with the 1st use, the end piece totally snapped off making the rod unusable. We were really disappointed with this item and had to return it.

Great fishing rod and reel for the price. I wasn't too sure about this when I bought it, but once I tried it out on the water I was very impressed. This compact rod and reel works great. The setup was fairly straight forward and the reel works smoothly. The rod itself is pretty sturdy and the reel is light weight and casts out very smooth. I caught some blue gill and a 2 lb. bass first time I tried it out. I like the tackle kit that came with the set as well. Very impressed with the over all quality of the products. A great value for anyone looking for a compact fishing kit. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Bought this as a bit of fun on a recent barge trip and it was great. I suppose had I checked the hooks and weights out beforehand to make sure that they were suitable I may have actually caught a fish, but doesn't matter, it was nice dangling the line in while the boat had run aground and sipping a glass of wine. For the next trip I guess I will need to have some better hooks, lines and things for it to be a real success!

Nice love the way it feel and easy set up style. Plan on order the smaller edition for on the boat action, this one I found to be big for chartered boat . The rod look better in person, the picture don't show the nice detail and craftsmanship put into the rod.Great little rod and reel pack. Easy to open and use. Just what I needed for those quick trips on the spur of the moment. It doesn't take up much room at all and the compact design keeps it safer from damage.

I wanted a basic lightweight holdall to keep my hiking gear in...tent, cooking kit, wash kit, first aid, etc. This is perfect for the price. I ordered a red one as well to keep emergency gear in...something I can quickly throw into the car. Again, these bags are perfect. Simple but clever design with an end pocket that I assume is for shoes and a small internal pocket. Good capacity and meets one of my main requirements: the bag should be one of the lightest things I carry.
