Great for outdoor movies!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a great projector to give as a gift to turn my bestie into the best Grammy ever! I wanted something she could use to show her grandson movies on. She loves it. Easy to set up and easy to use. Makes turning your backyard into an outdoor movie theater easy peasy.

Tiny, but works well
Projectors have sure come a long way, in size, price and in image sharpness. This projector is surprisingly small, just what I wanted to teach my small class (where the school's projectors are always a question). As long as you can dim the room, this works great for a small group (say, 10 people, around a table). Image is sharp enough to teach coding classes.

Awesome little projector
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Awesome little mini projector. The sounds isn't the absolute best but it's decent. You can Bluetooth a wireless speaker at the same time as using Roku or anything so that's a bonus. Clarity:Amazing even on an uneven screenBluetooth connectivity:Had no issues connecting Size:Compact and lightweight. Fits on a camera stands.

Small, affordable, amazing quality Projector!!
I got this projector looking for something small, easy to transport but does the same things as 200+$ projector! I mainly got it for the viral banner paintings but using it for movies outside is almost just as amazing. It comes with an HDMI cord, remote, and a power cord. My favorite part is it can connect to any phone, ipad, laptop, computer etc. It's super easy to figure out and i definitely think I got my moneys worth out of it.

Bright projection with WiFi capability
I was in search of a small/travel projector I could use on vacations and around the garage for special occasions. I first got the YG300Plus based on the price point, but then saw the YG300Plus Max had WiFi which I interested me for casting video wireless to. I also wanted to use USB-C for video and power if possible since that's a connector that's pretty common in our house/cars/travel kits.Size:YG300Plus Max is bigger than the YG300Plus. I imagine it would be much easier to travel with the YG300Plus and for a projector on the go, that would be the better option.Noise:The YG300Plus Max is significantly louder than the YG300Plus. I don't mean to say it's obnoxiously loud, but it's noticeable where the YG300Plus is a bit quieter.Brightness:The YG300Plus Max is MUCH brighter than the YG300Plus, by orders of magnitude. Check the photos for a side-by-side. I noticed that out of the box, the YG300Plus is in a low power setting that contributes to lower performance here, but even setting that to "high" doesn't come close to the larger YG300Plus Max. I could definitely this being an issue for the smaller YG300Plus in rooms that aren't totally dark, but on the other hand, I could see an issue where the larger YG300Plus Max is TOO bright for totally dark rooms since I couldn't immediately find a brightness adjustment there.USB-C:The smaller YG300Plus seems to deliver on the promise of video or power over USB-C. The larger YG300Plus Max only uses the USB-C power for video only and would not accept it as a power source using my 70+W USB-C brick.WiFi:As expected, the smaller YG300Plus does not have any sort of WiFi. The larger YG300Plus Max ad listing briefly mentions WiFi but doesn't have much other detail. I can confirm that the YG300Plus Max does indeed have WiFi. It appears to be able to connect to a WiFi network where it might then appears as a device to "cast" media too, but you can also connect directly to it as an AP to do ad-hoc screen mirroring from phone to projector, without needing a WiFi router.Final thoughts:The larger YG300Plus Max definitely seems to be the better projector, as expected by the higher price point. The brightness seems to be good enough for up to medium-lit rooms and it has WiFi for additional media source flexibility. For my personal needs, I'm not sure if either checks all the boxes. WiFi is nice, but I don't expect to be able to connect to a WiFi network everywhere I go. The smaller YG300Plus seems to be a better fit for my use case. I can power it off of the same USB-C brick I use for my laptop, it has a smaller footprint so will take up less space on a trip, and seems to do better at closer distances to the projection screen/wall which might be significant in a camper or smaller rooms. The dim picture is concerning but otherwise it seems to be the better option for my needs.

Just Amazing!!!
Such an amazing projector. Totally worth every penny I paid. Firstly it looks really cute and is light weight but the amount of features it offers is incredible. Always been my companion for road trips, plug in anywhere and watch a cinema!!! The picture quality is much better than what I expected too. It does git a tiny bit grainy if you stand up close, but that’s most projectors. It is very easy to navigate around and select the right option.

Nice, compact & durable but wish it was brighter
Good and reliable little machine for small rooms and conference rooms. Not bright enough for TV substitute or any ambient room light.
