First Mac - Great so Far!
I jumped from an older, underpowered Windows laptop to this MacBook M4 Pro to run Ableton, Logic Pro and other Music studio apps, and to round out my transition to the Apple Ecosystem, along with an iPhone, Apple TV, AirPod pro 2s. This thing has no problem with all the plugins and tracks I'm running in my DAW, which the older Windows laptop was choking on badly. I love how seamless it is for all the apps between my iPhone and the MacBook now too, instantly accessing Voice Memos, guitar/lyric ideas and song bites I randomly collect on the iPhone for use in my DAW.I've been transitioning to a simpler, more "creative" lifestyle using all Apple products that just WORK with each other. I'm so DONE with the buggy, updaty, random rebooty, tweaky Windows and Microsoft crap I've had to live with all this years (mostly due to work), not to mention the Android phones that aren't even integrated with it.The Apple Ecosystem is simplifying my life, making it more enjoyable!

Fast and Powerful Apple MacPro laptop
I absolutely love this MacPro. I’ve owned Apple computers since the SE-30 Macintosh through an iMac all-in-one. This is a fantastically fast and capable apple laptop. If you’re not familiar with Apple OS, there will be a learning curve. This specific configuration is expensive, but if you want quick and powerful, it is truly terrific. It does the small things well, but is powerful enough to do complex math and graphics really well. The battery life and user friendly UI is valuable to me. I also love how well it integrates with my other Apple products (iPhone, iPad, AirPods, and Beats headphones). Probably more power than I need and probably spent more for that power than I needed, but I decided to spend more for the better screen, speakers, and active cooling. Truly happy with this purchase.

Great Laptop
I love this laptop. Apple's ingenious product tiering worked on me. I started with a MacBook Air, then a 14 inch MBP, then ended up with the 16 inch MBP. Although it's expensive, I truly love it. It does the small things well, which is very noticeable for me since I switched from a Lenovo laptop that has "comparable" specs. The battery life and user friendly UI is valuable to me. I also love how well it works with iPhone apps (mainly iMessage), and AirPods. I do think the MacBook Air is plenty of laptop for most people, myself included, but I decided to spend more for the better screen, speakers, and active cooling.

Excellent laptop if you have the money!!!
Fantastic! High quality and great battery life! Yes it’s expensive but totally worth it! The only thing I would recommend is getting the latest internal drive you can afford because it fills up quickly. Really in this day and age 1tb should be the standard minimum. Beautiful display and processor performance is second to none!Very happy with this one!!

Would Buy Again
I love the large variety of ports..1st it had a mag charging port which is very fast,The SD Card reader is great because I own several still/video cameras which use SD cards...transferring to Down loads or photos is just drag and drop...Also has 3 USB ports..I can transfer from one SSD to another..again drag and drop...is very fast. This is A HUGE jump up from my 1 year old MacBook Air.. Again 5 stars would/will buy again !

Powerful. Bit heavy. Quality through and through, as expected from Apple.
I've owned this MacBook Pro M4Pro for a few weeks, and very impressed with the power and design. I do have to admit that it's a bit heavier than I expected. My previous laptop was an intel MacBook Pro, 15 inch retina. But, the trade off for larger and better quality display, and the performance gains of apple silicon are more than worth it.I got the 48gb ram, to help future proof. Also, it'll come in handy for my apps (video editing, 3D modeling/animation). So far, activity monitor reveals low memory/cpu usage. I also chose the 512gb storage. Yes, I would have liked more storage space, but the Apple premium is expensive. I opted to get thunderbolt 4 & 5 external ssd drives. The thunderbolt 5 ssd drive actually delivers write/read speeds faster than the internal ssd.The space black is not as dark as I expected. However, it does have a serious, elegant appearance. Does it collect dust and fingerprints? Well, I really haven't noticed fingerprints. Yes, if the cover is closed, and it sits for a few days, you'll see some dust. To be fair, it's the same amount that falls on anything else, including a silver MacBook Pro. A simple wipe clears it away. Using a microfiber cloth does a great job for dusting, btw.Even though the 16 inch is large and has a bit of heft, I value the larger screen real estate over a 14 inch screen. The laptop mainly stays at home. So, size and weight is not a major consideration. I do like the form factor for the flexibility for travel. (I was considering getting a Mac mini M4Pro, and a case. But, decided on the MacBook Pro. With the possibility of going Mac Studio M4 variety later in the year.)Overall, very pleased with the MacBook Pro.
