Best bang for your buck
I have three of these now and I use them heavy. Mass video recording and storage, using almost all the ports, and all on a iPad Pro M4 for Thunderbolt port max data speed. I can vouch these work amazing. But also remember to pair a suitable power supply if you are planning to use this as heavy as I do. I pair this with a 100W Anker power supply for maximum power headroom. But for light tasks and transfers, you don’t need one.

Made my life easier
I have (3) 32” Samsung Odyssey G5 monitors that are connected to my laptop. One is connected directly to thr laptop via HDMI and the other 2 HDMI’s are connected via this USB-C dongle. All 3 monitors are running at 2560 x 1440 @ 144hz. Uniform color, no flickering, etc.Works as intended. I was considering more expensive docking stations but this is all I need and saved me lots of time figuring things out.

Functional and Easy to Use
Wanted a dual monitor work station and this works perfect. I am not tech savvy in any way and it was easy to connect this to both monitors, my charger and my work laptop to create a easy dual monitor work station.

not 4K and 4K
I have 1080p laptop and I also run a Toshiba 43" 4K, and a SAMSUNG 40" 4K Bought this to simplify docking at home. whichever way I plug it the first port will only seem to support 1080. I can get 4K and 4K if I use laptop HDMI or another USBC-HDMI for one of the 4K. I would be satisfied if i could do 4K and $k from this thing at 30Hz but that does not work either. It dosen't hold up to what it claims period.

Didn't achieve what I want
My goal is to drive 2 4K monitor at 60Hz with a single USB-C connection. In theory this dock can do that.In practical, yes it can do that with some of my devices. For example, my laptop uses AMD 8840u SoC, and it drives that with no problem. However, my main goal is to use my work laptop, which is a Thinkpad X1 v9. However, that does not work - my laptop can't do that with this dock.Sure, most docks seem to have problem with that. I know the laptop is capable with that, because I have one dock which can do that - just not in a very stable way. But I have another dock which can do 2x4K@50Hz, which is tolerable; but for some reason, with the same monitors, this doc does not have the option of using 50Hz - only 60Hz or 30Hz. As a result, I can't use this dock to even achieve 2x4K@50Hz.Bandwidth wise, my laptop has DP 1.4, so it should have sufficient bandwidth to do 2x4K@60Hz, so it's not clear why this does not work. If I configure the doc to do 2x4K@60Hz, I just get a configuration error, and can't get the monitors to both light up. If I do them individually, I can at most get 2x2K@60Hz, which is not sufficient. All in all, maybe not the dock's fault, but it is worse than a previous dock I have, so giving it only 4 stars.

Perfect for at home office!
Found this docking station to function really well with my 2 monitors and laptop. It conveniently fits behind everything so it stays hidden pretty well! Nice small & affordable docking station for a Work From Home office!

it works, but I don't need a dongle
Just got it today and to be honest I have not gotten enough use out of it to make a fair assessment. Preliminary tests show that it works for the most part - external monitor connects fine, and pass-through charging seems to be working as my laptop got charged to 100% eventually. I did notice a minor problem with waking up the monitor after the laptop sleeps briefly - push the power button on the monitor typically resolves the issue. This might be an issue of the monitor...One thing that really disappoints me (hence the 3 stars) is how short the usbc cable connecting to the computer is, not to mention the fact that it's not connected like a regular usbc cable that one can just remove by unplugging. Maybe it's just me, but no matter how shiny a docking station is, I don't really need it to be lying next to my laptop. I want it to be swept away in the background, even hidden behind a monitor. Why does anyone need this in a dongle format?? and how much would some extra 3ft of usbc cable cost...This probably will be going back to the seller, and I'll keep looking for the next perfect docking station.
