Got this for my Dad.. he loved it. He said it's very comfortable and that it washed well.

Purchased for my son. He loves it. It is NOT thick. It is thin and light. So if you want big cozy comfy robe this is not it.

The fabric is light & soft but not flimsy. Perfect for warm weather. Fit is true to size. I would purchase again or give as a gift.

The Oxford definition of terrycloth is "a fabric with raised uncut loops of thread covering both surfaces, used especially for towels." Kind of like those great robes in hotels. This robe is not even close to that definition. I wanted something that would keep me warm in the winter and be absorbent post-shower. This is some sort of very thin material (I'm not sure it's 100% cotton as advertised. There's no tag on it showing what it's made of.) that won't be warm and has no plushness to it at all. The description is misleading and should have "terrycloth" removed. I'm confused how other reviewers can call this warm. It might be a good Summer robe but it's useless for what I wanted.This is why I have been skeptical about buying clothes on line. I'll try to return it but live remotely so I'm not sure how.

It is an excellent lightweight robe.

The size of the robe was OK, but the material it was made of was very rough and scratchy on the inside and outside. It was an uncomfortable feel. Also, small point, but the cord was sewn into the robe in the back and so couldn't be adjusted in front.

Nicely sewn but fabric is downright crunchy even after washing. The dog would not bed down on it either, but obviously would be rude to return it after offering it to him. Belt attached to one side, so hand wash only if you do not wish it shredded loose.
