I only use K&F filters, they are excellent filters at an excellent price point. All Japanese optical glass and precision made. These UV filters are no different. I have them on all my lenses to protect the front element of the lens. I have tested shooting with and without the filter and see no difference in photo quality.

I'm notoriously hard on my gear and have experimented with protective filters. Some cheap ones severely impact the image quality of my images, but given how hard I am on my gear, I've had to learn to embrace UV filters to protect my lenses from mud and the occasional faceplant.These K&F filters are champs and have performed delightfully without noticeably impacting my image quality (I shoot action-oriented sports, so I can only pixel peep so hard). One even sacrificed itself when I fell face-first onto ice and gravel, leaving my front elements completely unscathed. If you need a filter to protect your gear and can't afford to buy the more expensive glass all the time, consider these filters. Unlike other brands, they definitely punch above their price point, and the stash of extra vacuum-sealed microfiber cloths I've accumulated means I'm never too far away from a fresh and sealed lens cloth.

Great little filter that will protect you old lens. I both this for my Yashica Mat 124g as it is a older camera and could not buy a better TLR lens for the camera. Lens has held up to the test. Whether it has been long exposure or in the bright sunlight in the middle of the Puerto Rican summer. I could not ask for any more. The provided cloth cleaning was seamless and the functionality of both the lens cover as well as protective case include made for a wonderful experience. When buying this filter you definitely get a great bang for your buck. Color accuracy is wonderful for the price.

My little compact superzoom camera has been needing some protection for its front element for some time, but I kept postponing buying a new one. This is a great value for both a super clear UV filter and a lens cap.The lens cap is discreetly branded, which makes it blend in with the overall camera design. Many lens caps advertise their brands and it clashes with the camera itself. This is a good compromise and I rather like their design.Having an UV filter in any lens is one of the first things we learn in photo school as a way to protect my lenses. And this UV filter is a perfect fit. Pro Tip: whenever in doubt about the side of filters, I look for the "o" with a slash symbol that means "diameter" and that is typically in millimeters.
