I now have the Hobnail design 10oz cups, martini glasses and now the coupes! The style is simply beautiful!! They have weight to them, and were packaged wonderfully. Not one crack or chip.

These are an interesting set, with their common hobnail texture added to the bowl. From a distance, they are like a Monet--the points blur together and created a sort of frosted or blurred effect that has a sort of elegance. The one ding here is that the legs are sort of short, especially for large-handed people, and the strong rectangular bottom of the bowl will rest somewhat uncomfortably on the top of a large hand. There's no gripping the stem for big handed people, is what I'm saying--you've got to hold the bowl, and well, you obscure your lovely beverage, then, don't you. Even in photography, the glass is somewhat squat; I'd have given it maybe another half an inch in design.6 is quite a few here, and I really only need at most 2, but for the value it's quite a nice set. It's not terribly gift worthy in it's presentation--just a simple cardboard box. But the set is well-protected at the same time, and the original box stacks and stores well in the tetris of a stupidly large glassware collection. Overall, I'm happy to add these interesting pieces--they do get some commentary for their shape and appearance--to my bar arsenal, and they are a 4 for me.

Thick glass and beautiful

These couple glasses are adorable! I love the raised "dots" on them that give a very vintage look but still simple and modern. They're good quality and wash well in the dishwasher.
