Not what I expected it to be
Made of solid decent material but does not perform well. Have tried using it to scoop cake batter, did not work as well as expected, thus ending with a mess; can scoop ice cream with it but takes a lot of effort to get it to release. The area under the trigger/button is hollow making it tricky to clean. Have now resorted back to using tablespoon. Very annoyed that you can only purchase this in pairs.

This is a great scoop
I am in love with this ice cream scoop. I use it not only for ice cream, but for cookies as well. I love to bake, and after I chill my dough it is difficult to get out of the bowl. This scoop makes it a breeze, and doesn't mess up the roundness of the dough by scraping from side to side like other scoops (I make large cookies!). This one simply pushes the stuff forward out of the scoop, leaving nicely rounded cookies or scoops of ice cream. It cleans really well and doesn't seem to show any signs of wear and tear as of yet. I'm thrilled with this purchase!

Amazing quality, strong and the Last scoop you will really ever buy.
This is a great scoop for the price. I really like the Easy Trigger feature. I have used a similar one from this seller in the past, but that was one was a bit smaller. This one is a larger size (perfect size!!) and is very sturdy. The design is great as the hole at the bottom of the scoop, makes it effortless to clean the scoop and trigger. Just put it under the tap/running water and you are pretty much done with the cleaning!I have used it on extremely hard frozen ice cream and was happy to see it create perfect size ice cream balls.
