They are surprisingly sturdy. Perfect for my 4-year old son.

My grandson loves these and they are the perfect size for his little 5 yr old hands.

These are very sturdy and easy to use however once that paint chips, then they begin to rust in that bare spot.... obviously because it's metal. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because initially the blue paint on shovel turned my kid's hands blue if she held it too long. After several uses, it did stop doing this though.

Our granddaughter absolutely loves these garden tools. She loves to work out in the garden with grandma, & now she has her own tools. Very sturdy little tools, just her size - she’s soon to be 4.

I like the sturdiness of the shovels. It doesn't seem like it will break. So far it has been used a couple of times. This summer will be the real test . I bought these as a present for my Granddaughter's. They love the colors. I will update this review during the summer when the real digging is done.

Very flimsy

My two year old son is crazy in love with these!! They are made very well. The handles are wood and they are metal. No plastic. He loves digging and playing in dirt with these tools.

Very sturdy. Products intended purpose is for kid's gardening, however they were used on beach sand by children aging from 7 years up to 16 years. Wooden handle and metal trowel, rake, shovel did not fall apart as past 'heavy-duty' plastic beach toys. Will be used again for next year's annual family's vacation!
