It works and it is worth it.
My wife and I bought the item as a birthday gift for a friend who deals with a lot of pain and soreness. He told me today that he and his wife both love the device and the heat, cold, and massage functions. In fact they demonstrated it for several people from their church and four of them took out their phones and placed orders for the device. He is ecstatic at the way it eases pain.

Not a great buy
Hot & Cooling feature stops working after 3 uses, just enough time to not able to return. I contacted Sharper image (manufacturer, listed in the Amazon page) and they told me contact Amazon, sharper Image doesn’t sell that product! DO NOT BUY!

MADE WELL WITH PREMIUM MATERIALS. STRONG VIBRATIONS AND VERY QUIET. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE HANDLE GRIP. WHICH IS VERY SMOOTH. WHICH MAKES FOR AN UNSECURE GRIP IN SOME POSITIONS.
