It’s kinda fun having a remote for a lamp :) it looks great in our room and since the room is so big we ended up getting another one. It was super easy to put together and the base has a lot of weight. Definitely worth the money

So many lamps are now LED which are nice safety-wise and energy-wise. However, sometimes the LED lamps lack warmth (both in the literal and figurative sense). This one retains the homey feeling of warmth for a couple of reasons. For one, it has a traditional lampshade with a textured off-white tint. Secondly, it has multiple lighting settings from a bright white to a warm to even a very dim mode that maybe you’d leave on for the night in case someone gets up in the middle of the night. Which is where the modern conveniences come in. The multiple lighting settings make it more versatile as it can be used by a chair for reading or just as an ambient light.The remote is great to have, especially if it’s in a corner behind a chair or just not generally easy to get to. The remote gives you control of all the possible settings and if you prefer to keep it by the lamp, it actually magnetically attaches about halfway down the lamp so you don’t lose it!Now something I think could use some improvement is the manner in which the lamp shade attaches to the lamp. It tends to fall off somewhat easily. I had it in my son’s room and as he was below the lamp plugging it in, it fell right onto his head. It’s very light of course and it was actually funny and made us both end up laughing. And since then, he’s done it on purpose a few times, because he’s a kid, he’s 9, so you know how that goes. My husband suggested just using some zip ties but I ended up just taking it out of his room and replacing it with another one that doesn’t have a lampshade.I’m not quite sure what the reasoning for having the LED unit be able to swivel. I haven’t noticed much of a difference in the lighting with the lampshade on, but I don’t read by it, so it could be useful for reading when you have it on the brightest mode. But then, in that case it may be better to just take off the lampshade which would be fine. It’s not a standard bulb and I have a couple other LED floor lamps that do not have lampshades and are fine that way. Plus, this one has a pretty art nouveau curvy hook to make it look more elegant.Overall, I would recommend this lamp for anywhere you want more control and a variety of the lighting in the room. It’s unique compared to other available LEDs out there in its classy design and the warmth it brings to a room.

There is nothing to dislike about this lamp it's beautiful and does all that was in the description before purchase. I am in love with it

This lamp was not as sturdy as I thought it should be, and I just couldn't get the remote to pair with it. Too frustrating, so sent it back. Easy to assemble, however.

Easy to assemble and use, lighting is great with the remote control.

Overall this is a nice, lightweight, low-profile lamp. It took less than 10 minutes to assemble. The different settings/warmth levels are nice, although I really only like the warmer colors. It comes with a remote which is handy if you put it somewhere that's not easy to reach. My biggest issue is that the lampshade does not securely attach to the lamp itself - there's no screw or anything holding it on, it just sort of slides into place - so if the lamp gets bumped or you decide to move it, it will easily fall off. Not a deal breaker, but more of a slight inconvenience and something to be aware of, especially if you have young children or feisty pets who may bump into it.
