Powerful computer module is small and uses little power.
I'm glad I purchased the Quieter 4C for use in astro-imaging telescope setup for two reasons. First my old trusty 10 year old laptop was starting to fail and secondly all the cables needed to hook up to the telescope mount, cameras and accessories were getting out of hand. With only one cable needed for power and Wifi to communicate to a remote computers I've been able to simplify the wiring to the scope reducing the tendency to snag as the scope is slewed around. Though this computer is tiny about the size of a large smart phone so you can mount it up on your scope easily. It is very powerful with 4 cores, 16 gigs of RAM, a half terabyte SSD plenty of connectivity and Wifi it's more than powerful enough to run your observatory. Yes there are Raspberry Pi based computers that do the same thing but this computer runs Windows 11 so you can use your favorite Windows based programs you used on the desktop or laptop with ease. Right now I can operate Sharpcap4.1( or AstroArt() , SciTechexe, and PHD guiding without any issues. Since it comes with Windows 11 Pro any Windows including Windows Home can operate the unit remotely using Window Remote Desktop.

Fantastic unit for astrophotography rigs.
This is my 4th Mele Quieter computer. I use them on my astrophotography rigs. They are simply fantastic for this purpose. Highly recommended. The only issue that I had with this model was that the Windows 11 reinstallation file were not available on their support site as of the time of this review (05-23-2025). I have been assured by support that they would be by the end of the month. I found a temporary workaround. This will not be an issue unless you (like I did) upgrade the m.2 drive in the system.

Small, quiet, USB-C power
This is small. It uses USB C power which is now common. It is quiet. It can actually run World if Warcraft retail in 2025... Not great... But it can.I got this to install in my Tesla... Before anyone gets too excited... You need another more expensive device to be able to install this device... And no the USB-C that exists in the car isn't enough power to start this up... I have a better supply to use for this. Why install a windows PC to my Tesla screen? Well I'm an IT guy... It doesn't need to serve a purpose for me to want to do it.... Yes a laptop would be just as handy I know... Yes I have a couple... But I want to see it work.. cops do it. I'm sure I'll use it for something.

A nicely performing silent mini PC
Be sure to check out my video review in the video area above!I picked up this fanless Mini PC on the suggestion of a viewer for review. You can see my full review here. It is powered by an Intel N5105 Celeron chip (part of the Jasper Lake family) along with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM in dual channel mode. This model also came with 128GB of eMMC storage as its boot drive. While it’s not possible to upgrade the RAM you can add a M.2 2280 NVME SSD. It also has a microSD card slot on the back. It supports dual 4k 60hz displays and would work well as a Plex server, but I do not recommend Windows PC as home theater devices these days. The Nvidia Shield is still the best choice for media consumption IMHO.A few other value-adds here is its built in Wifi 6 radio which performed quite well in my testing along with a fully licensed copy of Windows 11 Pro. In my testing I also found it to be compatible with the latest version of Ubuntu and other flavors of Linux. Just note that right now Linux based browsers do not seem to decode 4k video from YouTube very efficiently.Performance-wise this is a nice bump from prior Gemini Lake PCs in graphics and CPU performance making this a good choice for old games & emulators along with game streaming. Performance is light years beyond what you might get out of a Raspberry Pi 4 for light server and desktop usage. The only real downside on this one is their decision to not follow the USB-C PD standard for charging and making the USB-C port only for power. You will need to use its included AC adapter to power it. Other Mini PCs at or around this price point have full service USB-C ports that work with docking stations.Other than that I can’t find much to complain about here. This is a nice PC that can do a lot of basic PC and server tasks silently with great performance.

N150 is pretty sweet
Generally impressed by the little guy for homelab use. For reference, I got the N150 16/512.Nice and snappy little desktop box. I wiped Windows to run headless Debian 12. I've got a smattering of Docker containers running, and it just sits there sipping power. The included nvme drive is fine, but I did upgrade to another faster Solidigm drive because I had one sitting around (the M.2 pci-e 4x slot is only pci-e 3 speed). I've played around with some of the other celeron/pentium low power devices in the past and this is much improved. My only caveat is that the USB-C power supply is 12v only, so you need to be careful not to plug it into anything incorrectly.
