Superb panel for gaming, don't miss out!
Pros: Unreal deep inky blacksAmazing color gamutHigh refresh rate for gamingHdr brightness is great @ 1000 nits peakGreat for media consumption like movies and TV showsPerfect resolution for gaming in 2025Cons: lack of built in speakersI understand this can be an expensive monitor to game with but honestly if you're on deciding to purchase one, just go for it. I would argue this monitor has been on of the few things to elevate my gaming experience. Sure you can buy a cheaper ips monitor that will get the job done but the difference is night and day with an OLED panel. Don't let the fear of burn in discourage you that was more of an issue about 5 years ago. I have owned this monitor for a couple of months now and it stills amazes me every time I use it.

Don’t FOMO. Not worth the price. Great quality monitor though
So far so good. But honestly not worth it for the $1200+tAX upgrade price tag. I’m coming from the m32u 4k 144hz IPS and there’s definitely a difference but is it really worth the price? IMO no.. also this monitor doesn’t have built in speakers which sucks for console gaming. The quality and visuals look amazing and there’s obviously a difference compared to IPS monitors while gaming but I just can’t justify the price.. I wouldn’t pay more than $800 to upgrade. Keep in mind this was originally $999 but the tariffs drove the price up. Excellent brightness, going from 144hz to 240hz definitely notice improvements but nothing major. You still need at least a 4090+ to game in 4k 240hz Weight:It feels very light compared to my m32u and the m32u is 1 pound less. Strange Build quality:a lot of built in functions which is cool. Makes it actually worth using unlike any other monitor I’ve owned. Sound quality:No built in speakers Value for money:wait for $800 or less

What an amazing monitor
I have tested 5 different large display monitors and this one, by far, takes the cake for me. The resolution is perfect for both immersive gaming and productivity tasks which is a balance that I found difficult to achieve with other monitors.I've compared this with 2 Samsung Gaming monitors, the 55" Ark and the 43" flat gaming monitor. Also compared with the 48" LG gaming monitor and the 38" flat ASUS gaming monitors. No need to share part numbers because there's only one monitor with those specs from each manufacturer.Picture quality: Excellent, although I haven't tested HDR as some other reviews have mentioned, regular non-HDR picture quality is excellent in productivity apps, games and cinema.Variable Refresh Rate in games: I use G-Sync and it is flawlessCurvature: Perfect for me, as this monitor is placed arm length from me.Resolution: Perfect for immersive gaming and productivity (split screen too).Build quality: Excellent, the stand is solid, the monitor itself feels solid, but definitely follow instructions provided in the box.Gaming features: Excellent, you get the crosshair and you get to choose which kind. You also get a desktop app so you don't have to mess around the monitor menu if you'd like to change something quick. G-Sync works flawlessly. Variable Refresh Rate is a definite for gaming if you ask me, but you'll have to manually enable the feature.OLED Care: Excellent, monitor takes care of itself with pixel shifting, cleaning and screensaver so no worries about OLED related issues, much less likely to happen as a result.Text quality: I have seen little evidence of text quality issues, however this is App dependent. I have noticed this in some text boxes on few websites in my Firefox browser, but nowhere else. I use a variety of Microsoft productivity apps, other browsers as well and this is a non-issue for me, but your mileage may vary.In summary: Excellent monitor 5 stars, I hope other concerns brought up by previous reviews (text quality and HDR) get resolved soon with firmware, however I wasn't able to replicate them myself. Good job ASUS.

Arguably on par with upgrading your GPU.
First off, the glossy coating makes everything super sharp and beautiful. Content is absolutely stunning to watch on this monitor. Be aware that due to the coating, light glare is very apparent. Any light that hits this monitor will be very apparent.OLED's response time is incredibly smooth. Combined with 240Hz makes playing games incredibly smooth with no ghosting or blur. Along with the contrast due to OLED, this monitor is probably on par with upgrading your GPU.Overall, really premium feeling monitor that completely upgrades playing games, especially at the price point. Monitor is fantastic, with assembly taking minutes.
