One of the best purchases I've ever made, what a beast machine!
This is the fanciest piece of technology I own, even moreso than my own car. I cannot overstate the usefulness, reliability, work ethic, and ease to maintain. I've never had to go over the work it's completed after a cleaning cycle, as it eliminated all of the dirt and sufficiently mopped all of the floor surfaces. It's communicative to you through the app, so it tells you what it needs... But don't forget that it's up to YOU to maintain the machine: it's not entirely self-cleaning & self-sufficient. Refill, drain, & sanitize the water reservoirs. Take out the mop base assembly & clean/sanitize it from hair, dirt, and debris. Remove the roller, remove the ends, and take out the balled up pieces of hair & string. I feel like purchasers neglect to perform simple machine maintenance & care, & blame the machine when it malfunctions due to build-up. It is not a quiet machine, but with its suction power it's worth the trade-off. This machine seems pricey, but it is worth every penny paid for. Love the "remote control" feature to "drive" the machine around & view through the camera & listen through the microphone to check on my pets at home.

The X30 is definitely house and price worthy.
I have had the Dreame X30 for 2 1/2 weeks and can honestly say this vac/mop is amazing. The routine setting is good but the Deep cleaning is amazing our floors look so clean/shinny. We have kiddo's and dogs, I forgot how good the wood floors used to look when I first installed them. Them app is very user friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Disappointing and Overpriced – Incomplete Cleaning and Unreliable Performance
We don't recommend this product. It fails to follow instructions, requiring supervision to ensure it performs its tasks. Sometimes it vacuums but returns without mopping, even when both modes are selected. If only vacuum is chosen, that task is also incomplete. We have tried other brands, but none are perfect; all have software malfunctions and are not fully automated. There is a long way to go before these machines can truly assist people. Unfortunately, these partially functioning machines are sold at high prices due to misleading advertising. We are very disappointed; they are ineffective.

It’s saved me hours of time!
Let me start by saying we’ve had robot vacuums for over a decade and this is by far the cream of the crop. We originally started with a Roomba vacuum in the days of bouncing off walls until the battery got low and leaving the job without completion. We then moved onto 3 different Neato vacuums and always hoped they would make a robot map. Well, THIS IS IT! We’ve had the Dreame X40 Ultra for about a month and this thing hasn’t skipped a beat. It diligently vacuums and mops and our floors are clean and dry every morning. This device has spoiled us and we’ll never go back to manually vacuuming and mopping floors. The mop gets to almost everywhere and the extending side brush grabs dirt and debris down in every last corner! The ONLY issue with the device is refilling the clean water and emptying the waste water. I really can’t wait for Dreame to release an automatic water fill and drain add-on in the United States. But if our only issue is having to spend 2 minutes every 3rd day handling water it isn’t a flaw of the device but just laziness. If you’re on the fence, if you’re looking at other brands, if you’ve had a bad experience with a robot in the past, if you’ve anything… just forget it and buy the Dreame X40 Ultra.

Highly recommended.
I enjoy the product. In its initial pass at learning the room(s) it does a wonderful job navigating tightly against the walls, objects etcOnce it’s gets the mapping of the entire floor, it adjusts itself to what it mapped as a ‘room’ and then moves back and forth to address the ‘middle’ of the room. The legs on our dining room room chairs are just slightly wider than the product. It did a wonderful job of navigating itself out from under the chairs, again with minimal space to work with.Takes less than an hour to do our main floor: living room, kitchen, hallway, entry way and sitting room. Excellent battery life and disposal feature pushing the dust/debris from the device to the storage container.Have not tried the mop feature as of yet. Products works best when it has less small objects to have to work around. We live in a 4 dog (heavy shedders), 2 cat home.

Does what it should
I am not sure if I buy this again or spend on a more expensive unit. Would it solve the issues or would it be the same?Pros:It does the job of maintaining the floors.Cons:It gets trapped on cables (power cords, I phone cable etc) that are left on the floor often. Specially the dark ones on dark brown floors. (Solved by inspecting the floor before I go to bed.)It should have a light to help avoid cables in the dark.It also doesn't check what it cleans to see if it needs another pass in that area. IE: On the first day, there were dirty feet stains on my white tiles and it did only one pass. It would be nice if it did another pass to clean it completely. You cannot manually control the unit and mop at the same time to remove said stain.Overall:My wife thought I was wasting our money and wasn't really on board with this purchase. A week later, she sees that it really does the job to keep our floor cleans.Having it swing its back to mop areas close to the wall is time consuming but we use it at night so it doesn't bother us.We have a dog with short hair which sheds a lot and it does the job of cleaning that off.Overall I am happy but wondering if I get the same unit for the second floor or should I get the more expensive model. If it lasts for a couple years, I think it will be a permanent solution for our home.
