Fits my needs for a scanner wrench.

This tool seemed to be the right option to disassemble and rebuild some hydraulic spool valves. Unfortunately, it had to be immediately modified to function as designed. The pins have grossly oversized mounting threads making the tool holder excessively wide at the pin mount. It wouldn’t clear adjacent obstructions that are common for this tool’s application. The only solution was to grind it down as far as practical with compromising the threaded hole for the pins.They also include a 1/2” square attachment point for greater leverage. It comprises one piece of steel welded onto the tool handle to give sufficient depth of contact. But the two pieces are offset by 1/16” making it unusable. At least until one takes a file to it.3 stars for poor engineering and quality control.
