Old School Newsprint Vibes!
I have these issues in many different formats but this is as close to buying a fresh stack of comics from "back in the day" as you can get!If you loved the old school tactile experience of Marvels old Essentials line, but wished they were in color... this is pretty much that.Spine appears to have decent give to easily and comfortably read the book, and weight feels lighter than expected. But to be fair I haven't actually read it cover to cover yet and probably won't as this was mostly a nostalgia purchase.Very satisfied.

Best compendium out there
Can't say anything bad about it. So much content for a Joe collector in one book. Great value.

Revisiting old friends.
So wonderful to have my old comics in a compact form. So much of the military detail that Larry Hama put into these stories was above my comprehension as a child/teen. Re-reading them as an adult gives me a fresh take on who he was and what he has been through.

Review of the Kindle Edition
I was really impressed by the resolution of the Kindle version. Even reading on a 65" 4K TV with my PC everything looks nice and crisp and high resolution. I was not expecting this kind of quality from 40+ year old comics!However... there's no freaking chapter system! How hard would it have been to make issue 1 chapter 1 etc?! Instead it's like 1223 contiguous pages with no chapters or anything. Kindle keeps track of your reading spot, yeah, but if you want to quickly find a particular issue it's pretty annoying. Not sure how they could screw up something that basic.

Great book not so great shipping
Love it maybe a little too big but I knew that before I ordered it only problem I have is the shipping they just tossed the book in a box with no packing so it just kinda slid and bounced around and kinda dinged up the edges abit wish they would have took more care with shipping.

That's a big book...
This book is huge, re-reading the first 50 issues of G.I. Joe by Marvel for the first time in years...

Yooooo Joe!
Great collection of fond memories on a good and affordable book, paper is not high grade slick so be careful, binding is very good for such a large paperback, not too heavy compared to DC or Marvel omnibus'. If you love G.I. Joe then DEFINITELY buy this.
