Great balls
All the birds in my neighbourhood love my new balls, they cant seem to get enough of them. I get a lot more titts now too.Great value, recommended. Not bothered that some arrived broken/crushed, the birds dont care, they eat them anyway.

Birdlicous
Will be buying again as my birds love these and it’s damn good quality for the price. To be honest I was not sure as the reviews were very mixed but I’m glad I gave it a go and so are the birds. I had a total of 3% broken balls if that which is impressive and doesn’t really matter as I use these for both the fat ball feeders and the table so I break up some myself anyway. The birds really enjoyed these and I’m having to put out more often as it’s the first to be eaten up. I’ve already attracted more birds to my garden which are a delight to watch feeding in their masses.I kept all previous plastic tubs from other brand purchases that I now use to repack these from the boxes they arrive in which are great.Your birds will be very appreciative of you and you will attract more birds to your garden. And of course if it’s winter the balls get harder as one would expect, but the birds don’t seem to care and still gobble them up at speed.

Birds love them
Finally managed to get these fat balls into my feeders. I'm sitting here at my computer and watching the birds on their feeders, too many to count but fat balls going down a treat with them. I used to buy these 50 a time in town but as the weather forecast is not good I saw these on Amazon and decided to get them in case I couldn't get into town. Don't like the smell much, but they're in the outhouse so it doesn't matter. The birds are loving them. At the rate they're attacking them, hope this order lasts a while.

Minor issues with packaging but OK
Having spent more money than perhaps I have needed to on smaller quantities of fat ball that the birds were consuming quickly, I decided upon this bulk buy. 300 for under £20. A no brainer I thought. Two large and heavy boxes duly arrived. What’s that smell? I thought as I got close. All was very apparent when I opened the boxes. They are smelly. A musty, oily smell. Not pleasant. Anyway, I felt sure the wildlife wouldn’t be put off.Quite a few (probably 10-15%) were damaged. Most were slightly crumbled but a few were almost disintegrated. Anyway. The acid test.I replenished my feeders and nothing for 24hours. But, then the birds descended. And they seem to like them!It will take a few months to get through 300, so I’ve put a fair quantity in sealed plastic containers. Should keep them fresh. So the verdict? Not bad but not brilliant. But the important thing is the wildlife seem to appreciate them.

Dreadful courier service
Courier service was appalling and that would definitely put me off ordering this product again, but the supplier was responsive to my emails.10% damage estimated, but how much of that was due to delivery issues and the way the boxes were left when finally delivered (dumped, up-ended at an angle) is hard to say.Value for money was ok - among the cheapest I could find at the time for that quantity - but I note that the price has gone up since. No takers for 2-3 weeks initially, but the fat balls are pretty popular now with blue tits, sparrows, the local robin, magpies, crows (or they might be ravens) and the local woodpecker. The birds seem to come after the rain which, I guess, must help to soften the balls enough for them to eat. Collared doves, wood pigeons and the odd starling hoover up the crumbs that drop onto the ground.

Great balls of fat!
I do not write many reviews however this Company deserve their praises to be sung or in this case written about. I live in the outer isles of Shetland which requires 2 ferries to get here and to receive 25kg/300+ fat balls to my door for £20 within a week is truly amazing. First order from GWD but will not be my last!

Good price and birds loved them!
We buy the wild birds various seed, nuts, suet, suet balls etc all year round. One week I was working long hours and was running low on fat balls so thought we could try the 300 fat balls from here. I was very impressed with the quality (the wild birds even more so) and will certainly be purchasing them again soon. The only issue I had (although I knew the approx. Weight and used to carrying the 12.5Kg bags of nuts/seed mix) it was extremely heavy to lift.

All of a sudden, nobody likes them!
Has the recipe changed? We have used these fatballs for a couple of years and our garden visitors get through several a day, but this last batch are clearly different as nothing eats them at all..... even the squirrels don't steal them! Very disappointing and I'll have to find a different supplier. I've scored 'presentation' as 4* becuase they look the same to me, but obviously don't taste the same.... not that I have tried them myself!
