I did a distance test with the lapel microphone using my TV as a sound source and 60m+ was very good, even though I didn't have an unobstructed signal. except for poor crackly cables from the receiver to camcorder.The recording test was not a success, even though the frequency range was good, my first recordings were left channel only. Plugging the mono end of the cable into my camcorder or USB recorder gave a balanced MONO sound.This unit may be OK for most interview scenarios, (however my other wi-fi transmitter unit is stereo, takes a stereo microphone and gives real presence, you can even hear birds tweeting that no one heard on the day).I got rid of the crackles by replacing the supplied jack output MONO cables with my own , such a pity that the supplied ones crackled on each end if you moved them slightly, a very poor connection!So much promise, the unit is fine for two person interviews, not suitable for musical performances, unless you don't mind mono.Battery life was good for 4 hours and plenty left on the transmitters for much longer, however no battery level to check on the receiver.The price is very good for this unit, however it is limited by been mono for my needs , a step backwards, I have returned the unit after 6 hours and purchased a much more expensive stereo unit.2½ stars is fair and would be 3 if the audio output cables were goodShould state clearly that the unit is only mono

Me urgía algo económico para una grabación y elegí este micrófono por ser UHF y el precio económico , sin embargo capta interferencia y señales de teléfonos móviles, no lo recomiendo para algo profesional, es preferible los nuevos micrófonos de 2.4Ghz.

It sounds too cheap for what it costs. It is difficult to maintain the flow of sound, it is choppy. The voice is heard muffled, and still picks up the ambient sound. Bad investment.

Initially this kit worked well, the longest recording video time I used these for was 5mins to interviewusing my Nikon D610 camera. However I kept the kit switched on, moved to a other person to interview and video record, the reciever repeatedly cut out and lost audio connection to the transmitters. No idea why and now I have half of my interview with no sound!

If you're reading this then I'm sure you are after a better sound recording for your cheaper alternative GoPro Action Camera. It's the main reason why I purchased this. I wanted something fit for purpose and at minimum cost. Let me first just say. You will not be disappointed. Worked straight out of the box, well after i installed each transmitter and receiver with x2 AA batteries. Sound is loud and clear. Range is decent also. If your Action camera does not have a mic in (which mine doesn't) this has the option to plug into any mobile phone via a 3.5mm mic jack socket as the cable is supplied as part of this package. Brilliant
