Q: do these make you feel hot

Yrs, I bought these due to having bamboo in them hoping that they would be better than regular microfiber, they are not. They very hot, not cooling at all as advertised. I don't feel like they wick perspiration either. Save your more and stick to pure cotton.

Q: Will it fit my pillow top mattress?.what in the world is a french closure ?

Yes! They have a lot of stretch to them and the elastic is very durable. We have these for all of our beds, 3 twins, a double and 2 queens and have never had an issue with the sheets. The French closure is for the pillow case, it fits a standard size pillow.

Q: what is the bamboo percent?

60%microfiber 40%rayon from bamboo

Q: Fading can be horrible with Black sheets. How's the fade-resistance on these?

I bought dark chocolate, salmon pink, and a baby blue. Neither of them have shown any signs of a fade. Water has been clear in tub of machine.
