D Debra Audio ER-Mini UHF Portable Wireless in-Ear Monitor System with Monitoring Type for Stage, Band, Recording Studio, Musicians, Monitoring (with 2 Receivers)

This was going to be backup for a rack mount unit for shows where my band doesn't use our PA system. My background is that I've been playing for 40+ years, I play 3-5 times a week mostly in clubs and music is my only income. The first thing is that these things are tiny. Like 3 inches high by 2.25 inches wide. I didn't realize that from the pics, so putting it out there. There are some reviews out there that complain of distortion, I too have heard some distortion in the higher frequency range. Running it in stereo helps, but you still may hear some distortion. As others have stated, there is not enough gain on the receiver so it's not loud enough and you would never be able to use this in a band playing live music unless you DON'T have amps or a drummer or much background noise. As a test, I plugged my phone into the transmitter, my IEM's into the receiver, and it wasn't as loud as plugging my IEM's directly into my phone, so this unit actually REDUCED the volume! Also on both the transmitter and receiver, the volume is incremental with 5 or 6 levels of volume set by pushing a button-not a knob that is universally adjustable.final thoughts:Maybe it's just me...but I think just calling your product "in ear monitors" insinuates that it's to be used by musicians, but I feel like even a novice would find this product severely lacking. Why not call them "wireless listening system" and remove any doubt that it's not for musicians? Unless the point is to mislead, which I highly doubt. The only legitimate use for this I can think of is to plug into a home stereo and use it that way. Any device that is able to stream audio renders this product obsolete, as you could just plug your earbuds into your streaming device.1 last thingD Debra has several wireless units and this IS the smallest most inexpensive unit they make. But still, they DID put their brand name on it. I think it says something about a company that would market such a poor product. Personally I think it is probably a good indication of the quality of the rest of their products. One thing I didn't mention till now is that my transmitter is faulty and will not fully charge. I used it for 5 minutes 1 day, then 2 minutes another day and the internal battery is completely dead. Also, I reached out to the company regarding their stated audio frequency response of another wireless unit (seemed to good to be true) I never got a response. Me agrado la calidad de sonido, buenisima señal y la calidad estructursl del equipo. Lo recomiendo 100%

El producto es bien, pero respecto al funcionamiento deja mucho, pues tiene un sonido incómodo al punto q mi amigo ya no quiere usarlos

I had high hopes for this but it's useless. What little bit of signal strength it has does seem to have adecent audio quality but it's just way to weak, requiring probably another 10dB amplification to reachaudible level of comparable systems. As in ear monitor in a live band situation it would be inaudible,masked even by the ambient stage volume leakage through the headphones. It also begins to cut in& out within as little as 15 ft from transmitter.
