Case was "decent" not the best
Color is better than I expected, that is a positive and the only reason I am rating 3 stars.PROS: Pretty color, same as a traditional green Christmas ribbon and I like that! Case feels nice in hands, but, that's all the good I can say about it...CONS:1. Plastic molding bled around the speaker & mic holes so I had to drill them out.2. Half the screw mounts were almost closed up and one actually was, I had to thread them manually.3. The BIGGEST complaint?! The screen is that easy-to-scuff-even-with-cloth plastic! It even arrived pre-scuffed WITH the protective coating STILL on it!In short, I do NOT recommend this product until they at least address the issue with the screen glass (plastic).(EDIT to #3, there were TWO layers of protective film on the screen! The screen is just as clear as the original, so ignore this complaint as its no longer valid and there was no issue to address)

Attractive, but fragile and poorly designed.
The positives:— This shell is very attractive, and the paint job appears to be high quality. Placed side-by-side with the OEM shell it was meant to replace, I'd say the hue was 95% accurate to the official Sony shell.— The UMD door spring assembly and latch were also well designed. I found them much easier to install than in the OEM case. They felt sturdy as well.— The power button slider is very similar to OEM. This is the only 3000 series PSP I own, but when I swapped shells on my 1000 series, I returned a few units because the slider was integrated into the back shell and very flimsy. The negatives:— The trim, especially on the bottom edge where the left and right halves meet, is very fragile. They are meant to snap in place via tiny plastic clips, however the clips are made of a similar plastic to those snap together model kits I put together as a grade school kid a decade before the first PSP was released. No matter how careful you are, chances are high one will snap off. This leads the trim to bow out because the plastic is too cheap to hold its own form without clipping in.— The front and back shells do not sit flush. I removed the faceplate probably a half-dozen times before I accepted that it was a design flaw and not user error. The poor fit is distractingly unattractive for a perfectionist like me, but even if others are OK with it, it makes using the system difficult. If it were any worse it would be impossible. This is because the 1 mm to 1.5 mm gap is enough to impede the analog stick. Also, though it did not effect gameplay, I had push the front and back shells together to hit the PlayStation and volume buttons.— The body plastic is low quality as well. Compared to this, the OEM case feels like one of those anodized aluminum Gameboy shells. This would not be an issue if the shell were a good fit, but to deal with the control issues, I found myself holding the PSP with a death grip. This further strains the plastic and makes the aforementioned issues even worse. Conclusion:If you plan to put your PSP on a pedestal, this case is undeniably attractive. If you plan to play it, you should look elsewhere. This is the second brand of PSP 3000 shell I have tried and the other was of similar quality. If your current shell is too damaged to play, my advice would be to get a good condition used OEM shell and learn to live with the scuffs. Returning this was one of the easiest decisions I've ever made.

Comes as advertised, - screw tool, Excellent quality!
The shell is very well made and is identical to that of the original Sony shell. Very high quality material, even better than my original shell. Only issue is joystick included is a little taller so makes it have a tight fit on the left side, but this is easily fixed by shaving down the base, or opting for just leaving the original black stick, As I myself have done. I recommend using the stock screws for the internals like the motherboard and the screws provided for the case and outer pieces, as I found this gave the shell the best fit. Also there is no screw tool included, i recommend getting a precision screwdriver set and other precision tools as these help greatly in disassembling the tiny and very fragile components connected to the mother board.

It fits and it's awesome, unfortunately for me though
It fits and it's awesome, unfortunately for me though, I ended up breaking the joystick hardware, but it was worth the experience and the time to learn how to do it.

Screen is trashed. DO NOT BUY.
The emerald green looks nice, but does not make it for the ATROCIOUSLY scratched up screen. The included screen for the front of the shell is far worse and more distracting than my original, 10 year old psp screen. Also worth noting is that the battery release mechanism is very poor. The buttons and D-pad are shaped poorly, both had sections too low or too high high relative to the screen. Finally, and the most annoying part of it all, is the faceplate does not tighten enough to allow the joy stick to freely move. It will catch the faceplate often, making for a miserable experience. OVERALL, I HAD TO COMPLETELY RESHELL TO THE ORIGINAL PSP SHELL. THE MOLD IS COMPLETE TRASH.

It’s ok but I definitely got the wrong buttons
The shell is a nice dark green a color a like and I was excited to see the translucent green buttons too but I see the package and I got some nasty solid stale looking buttons so ima just have to use the ones my psp came with kinda a shame was looking forward to that
