If you should know anything about me it's that I'm kind of person who gets bored easily and likes to change things up every few months or so...this habit extends to essentially everything from my shirts to my shoes, and needless to say, I've ordered a ton of different laptop cases over the years especially when I was in school full-time. What I can also say is that out of all the laptop cases I've purchased this has got to be by the far the best one! I've had at least three "pu leather" type cases in the last two years and all of them were fine but never offered the same sort of plush cushioning that this case does. This point deserves repeating: It's not just some cheap but fancy leather(ish) slip cover but it comes fully softened and cushiony which adds more protection for your precious laptop! What more could you possibly ask for?! Not only do you get the great look for leather which is perfectly fancy and professional for the office (I've actually gotten numerous compliments on the case when I carried my laptop into meetings) but you don't have to worry about putting your electronic device in some sort of stiff magnetized envelope-looking leather slip which sometimes I feel does more harm than good. This case is the best of both worlds - professional but not lacking in safety for your device. And not only that but it also comes with a free mouse-pad on this inside! And the price-point is ridiculously cheap! I haul my laptop with me everyday from work to the mall to my friend's house and back home again, and have been suing this case for about four and a half months now and I must say, I'm completely satisfied and happy with my purchase. I'd recommend it to anyone who asks!

The sleeve is a perfect fit for my chrome book. However, the description says the exterior is a synthetic leather and there is. I thing leather about the feel of it or the durability. It feels like there was a black spray applied over soft foam. It will crease extremely easily and I’m not sure about how water proof it is. My chrome book travels with me quite a bit between work, home and Scout meetings. At this point, I’m not sure how it is going to hold up (time will tell) and I don’t know if it will keep rain out or absorb it between my vehicle and the house or building door. I know it’s not an expensive item, but I was expecting a higher quality item based on the description. It’s why I went with this sleeve and not another. I’ll do a follow up review in a couple of months after some use.

I was under the impression that this would be a sturdier, thicker outer material. It feels like foam, very similar to like a nerf ball. It seems like it can scratch, peel, or tear if i'm not careful. But I just needed something to protect my tablet from scratches while its stored on my desk, the inside is very soft.

I have one of these and I also have an Amazon Basics case. The Amazon Basics is a little thinner and doesn't protect my computer from the zipper as well as the CCPK. The only thing I would change would be to put handles on each side so that it is easier to carry. I did that with my Amazon Basics with inch and a half webbing sewn onto the outside of the case. People should understand that this is a soft case and only protects from minor bumps and drops -- it is not a hard case. But it's perfect for carrying your laptop from office to meetings or home.
