Works well!
We bought this so that we could take our baby monitor with us while travelling. It was quickly delivered. Good, sturdy materials. Easy to set up. The clamp takes quite a bit of strength to open but it has to be this way for it to be stable. It's currently attached to the corner of a Graco pack n play while we're on holiday!

Definitely heavy duty. Super simple to set up. Only wish it came in a 2 pack also.

Love Vtech!
This is my second purchases. Trust the Vtech. It does the job. I use one for my parents’ house and one for my self. Rotate the camera make it easy for us to check the baby/toddler. Big screen with night vision. Would recommend to anyone.

Strong hold
You’ve got to have muscles in your hands to open the clips wide but that’s works for me. Means my child cants rip this one out as easily.

Not sure why all the cameras and these mounts are proprietary
I have a round-bottom camera similar to the one shown in the posting, but alas, mine would not work with the gooseneck clamp as it is. I ended up gluing two small magnets - one to the platform on the gooseneck clamp and one to the bottom of my camera. They are the Neodymium magnets - really strong for such small ones! So what I really wanted this gooseneck clamp piece is that my camera is 360 swivel, but the up/down function is less especially when sitting on its base. By mounting the camera on the gooseneck platform and turning the camera upside down, I get a better angle for up/down as it is no longer sittng on a counter, blocking the "down" view. Now, I did find the clamp to be brutally HARD to open! I mean, really? I have sturdy clips that would hold that gooseneck that aren't even half as hard to open as this one! So...stop making these platforms proprietary! Provide magnets or adhesive strips to adhere camera bottoms to the platform! And manufacturer? Have your 80 year old mom try to open that clamp - whew!
