The PGYTECH CreateMate for Standard SD Cards is a really good, cheap, multi-functional card reader and card storage. I have owned this for 1 month so I cannot speak on longevity but it is rigidly built, the USB-C cable clamp is well situated even though some reviewers say it is loose. I find no problem here.I've used it multiple times so far and it has a sustained transfer speed of 265+MB/s, it goes no higher or lower, the packaged rating is 312MB/s but a steady 265MB/s is still really good, most transfer rates actually fall lower than their specified rating so this is no surprise.The size of the product is really good and can easily fit anywhere just as well as a usual card reader would do and since it comprises of both storage and the card reader it reduces the amount of gear you are carrying.I love this product, and as a final note I may shortly upgrade to the CFexpress Type A / SD Card variant which is more expensive, as I am looking to pickup a CFexpress Type A Card as this one does not support CFexpress but only SD Card and Mirco SD Cards. I would advise if you know you may be upgrading in future to go straight for the CFexpress variant, as you will save more money in the long term.

Didn’t seem to be much choice for a device that can import SD and CF Express type B cards. Well this device does and it came with a few added features like card storage, and an embedded C type connector cable. Plus it was weather proof and rugged.Overall I am really pleased with this piece of equipment.

This card reader/storage is well designed, holding SD, micro SD and sim cards it makes keeping track of my images and videos very easy. The built in USB C card reader also means I no longer have to carry a separate reader for downloading the data following a shoot. It would be five star if I had not found exactly the same design nearly 50% cheaper on Amazon once I had received it. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.

Sure, it's expensive - but worth every single penny. I cannot believe how fast it is - faster than my desktop built in reader and faster than the built in laptop reader. Superb quality. A 'must buy'.
