I like that when you buy more than one you can use one app to control them all. Nice touch. They're bright - but do be aware, each one is kinda' different - one was really bright and clear, another I had was not as bright or clear (by clear I mean, makes a crisp circle on the wall vs one that is sorta more fuzzy around the edges). I put these in the backseat of my car for fun. They look cool.

Now don't get me wrong, this thing is sort of cool, and I wasted a whole bunch of time messing around with it when I was supposed to be doing more important things, but I guess I just feel it has potential to be so much cooler.I think a better description of just what the heck it is in the product description would have benefited me, since I wasn't aware it was going to be a USB device that you control from a app on your phone. It also would be helpful to include some sort of instructions on how to use the app, and exactly what device it is (the app serving as a controller for apparently numerous similar devices) instead of making the user mess around until they figure out to some degree how it works. It does come with some instructions but they are of the most basic nature, and really do little more than provide a QR code to download the app.That being said its sort of a neat little gadget, though I am unsure I am using it correctly or I am utilizing it to its full potential due to the lack of instructions.Basically its sort of a USB light dongle with a adjustable goose neck that you can aim in the direction of your choice such as a wall or ceiling. It can play several different sequences of circular light in numerous combinations of your choice. However its not terribly powerful, or super bright and would optimally preform best in a dark room.It does have the ability to react to music either by listening to and reacting to it directly from what you are playing on your phone, or reacting to what it hears via your phones mic. And thus providing a sort of mini light show, sort of.And its ok, not super exciting, maybe cool if you were having friends over and wanted some unique kind of mood lighting that you have a number of different choices of color and color change sequences. It just seems it could be so much cooler, I don't necessarily know how but it just seems like it's a great idea for a gadget that just hasn't been realized to it's full potential as to how wild and super far out it could get, and is instead just sort of the run of the mill RGB reactive light technology common to any number of devices, but implemented in a USB dongle, that you can control with your phone.

The app requires full access to your phones data to work properly. The device is not compatible with ANY other Bluetooth controller apps.

We have a couple of these now. This one was priced the cheapest and it shows in terms of quality. The app is a bit funky and the colors mesh together more than usual. It’s also inconsistent about how crisp/ fuzzy the edges are and bright/ dim colors are. It’s not bad, but I think it’s more of an entry-level one. You can toss it in a kid’s room and not care if it breaks or test out if you like it before investing in a better one.We’re not disappointed with it but I’d go with an upgraded model if I ordered a similar product again.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this light so much! Even though it’s small, it works great. Color and quality is awesome. And I love how easy it is to use from their app as a remote- super convenient. It has lots of different settings and customizations on the app. 1000% recommend!Since it’s a usb plug in, I plugged it into my clock that has usb ports and bent it so it can face either the ceiling or wall and totally love it— excuse the missing vines I’m too lazy to fix them atm.

This is a single RGB LED under a lens and the pattern is about 45º spread so you get a decent 6~8' circle on a regular ceiling. I set this to a sunset color with the app very easily and have it on a timer so it cues me to start falling asleep. I definitely wouldn't say this photographs well, the light is pretty dim, not sure what it was trying to say with photography in the title, but this is only really suited for nightlight use.It's about as bright as a night light, enough to see but barely in my bedroom so without any blue light to keep me awake I lull off more quickly. It's easy to position and adjust, but heavy enough that you might have issues with your USB charger block if your outlets are loose (like mine) so you'll have to get creative.With proper expectations you'll like this for subtle mood lighting, but if you thought you were getting a spot light or anything like that you're going to be disappointed. Overall a good cheap mood light.

The remote control is very easy. I love this light and the endless variations of lighting. The color really covers the room and we love using the golden hour when it's a cloudy day outside. I haven't had any operating problems. Great price for the light.

Wasn’t too impressed with this light. It’s super basic and small. Something you’d find at the dollar store. The instructions are in size 1 font so get your magnifying glass ready. The light projected on the wall looks nothing like the photos. But it does give a small amount of ambient light which is what I was going for. Just a shame the projection is so small. The app seems to be working okay right now for me but it does have a 1 star review in the App Store

For the price, this is good. You have to download an app which can be a little temperamental but its good! Its connected to usb unlike its competitors but its sturdy and bright ! Great customer service too!!!
