Love this Vocabulary book! Learning new words and their meaning is always fun. Print is black & white no color which worked great for us. This book introduce a new set of words every 3 pages. Pages includes 10 vocabulary words listed in a box, definition and tracing words on the first page. Second page is using the vocabulary words in a complete sentence. The sentence is given and the child must figure which vocabulary word to use. The words are listed in a box called the word bank. Third page is how to use the word different ways. They will learn synonyms, antonyms, verbs, texture words, sound words, homophones, compound words, prefixes, suffixes, stories, money and linear measurement. They will learn a little bit of everything in this one book. We usually spread the three pages out for a coarse of a week. Constantly going over vocabulary words daily. Than test on Friday. Great for homeschooling or extra work for any child. I would definitely purchase this book again.

The media could not be loaded. I was trying to look for words that can help enhance my six-year-old‘s vocabulary specially, something that you don’t really hear a six-year-old use like procrastinate or cranial or just plain whatever I’m just throwing words out there because a lot of people don’t fully comprehend proper vocabulary especially words that you don’t really hear anymore But I’m assuming this is a start they don’t really have anything to increase vocabulary in little kids and they should have that

I really like the layout and educational detail put into this book. It's very well written and thoroughly researched as to what levels of reading/writing that should be completed at certain grade levels. I will most definitely be purchasing the other subjects in this set. This is by far one of the best learning tools for children. I have purchased many, and this was a great buy. If you're looking for something to challenge your child, and something where effort and research was put into making this book, I say definitely buy it. You could even just buy one and I know you'd be impressed. Great! Very happy with my purchase!

This is a great book for enriching the vocabulary words of a first or second graders..My son is in first grade and I want him to learn more words so he can make a good sentence.The description of each word in this book is describe in a sentence,so it really easy for a child to understand what it meant.

Super easy to work with, fun sheets for kids to do.

Each 'packet' or lesson has 3 worksheets to go with it. Day one always has all the answers already on the line-students must simply trace the answer. The other 2 worksheets have a word bank for that week's words and then the student needs to fill in the blank with the appropriate choice. Seems rather simplistic in the long run and let's be honest unless you literally go over that day one with them word for word most students will not take the time to read the sentences and understand the week's words they will just quickly trace the answers.
