The Learning Resources Sensory Trio Fidget Tubes arrive in mixed cardboard/plastic packaging - suitable for a gift.The pack has CE and UKCA marks printed on the back which confirms that the product conforms to UK and EU standards. Personally, I would like to see a RoHS mark as well on the product to confirm that there are no hazardous substances - but this is absent.There are three tubes - an hourglass with sand that takes a few seconds to pour through with a calming sound, glitter in a liquid that fills the tube with brightness and happy smiley faces, and beads down a ramp making a clunky noise- the top also twists and clicks.All the tubes are the correct size for 3+ and I am certain younger sibs will play with them as well.Overall a fun set - happy to recommend.

Each one measures 5" in length and is a good size for small hands to grip and interact with.The orange glitter shaker sparkles beautifully when in the light and is very pretty if you shine a torch at it when in use. There are a couple of little pieces in the shape of faces hidden amongst the glitter. The green tube has purple sand flowing down when turned similar to a giant egg timer. The blue tube has small rattling multi-coloured balls that speed down a helter skelter ramp when turned over.A lovely set of toys which require no batteries (yay!) which can be picked up and played with at any time. No instructions and no assembly required.

This is a set of 3 sensroy shakers. Each has a different effect - one is a kind of a rain stick with balls that run down making a loud noise as it runs. The bases of this are turnable and make a clicking noise. This shaker is all about making noise. The second shaker has sand and makes a quiet noise as the sand drains through, it has multiple slots so the sand goes through different slots in a slow manner. This is called the touch tube and you're supposed to feel a difference in weight as the sand falls - this change is not noiceable to me. It has bumps around the base to touch and feel. The ends of this one are fixed. The third shaker has glitter and water and is silent, the glitter floats around and has a second size/shape of glitter inside that you don't spot as much which makes it interesting to stare at.All these shakers are really robust and well made. I also like that they are small and compact and easy to transport/fit into a sensory box.

These "Learning Resources Sensory Trio Fidget Tubes" are amongst some of the best products we have recently received from the brand, and even though they are based on a fairly simple concept, they really are quite effective, especially with regards to holding a toddler's fascination. The product has an age group of 3+ on the packaging, which obviously applies to the contents of each tube (sand, glitter, and tiny plastic balls), so if you are considering purchasing the product for a child younger than 3 years old, 100% supervision will definitely be required at all times.One other thing to be aware of is that it does not state what the liquid within one tube consists of, but judging by the consistency, it appears to be similar to the liquid used for Snow Globes. However, do bear in mind that even though the liquid within a Snow Globe consists of water with a small percentage of Glycerine (a non-toxic substance), some also contain a certain type of antifreeze.
