GanedenBC30 is a natural probiotic supplement used in more than 1,000 human foods and beverage as well as companion animal products around the world, and holds several certifications including being generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA, Kosher and Halal certified, Non-GMO Project verified, vegan, gluten-free and allergen-free. GanedenBC30 is made by growing a patented strain of Bacillus coagulans (GBI-30, 6086) on a medium that's specially designed to provide an optimal environment (pH, nutrients, and temperature) for growth. After the endospores (seed-like structures) are formed, they're separated from the medium, then purified and dried. The spores remain dormant until they are ingested and reach the small intestine, where they begin growing and produce active cells that support digestive and immune health. GanedenBC30 is particularly unique due to its guaranteed viability - most other probiotics are unable to survive even the cooking process and shelf-life of foods, whereas GanedenBC30 survives through even the extreme gastric environment of pets.
