Buddy has always been food passive, takes his time and loves something new, nibbles throughout the day. He just turned 8 so I .oved him to this senior brand. This morning his dish was empty. This has never happened before - Buddy Likes It!

He’s been eating this brand (but chicken) his whole life. Recent switched to red meat due to chicken allergy. He loooooves it

I recently received this Blue Buffalo dog food . My old springer spaniel was having some health issues and was on a special diet for a while so now I’m getting around to reviewing this food.My old dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis and a change of food was necessary.I was pleased to see that this dry food was lower in fat than her regular brand so just exactly what the vet had recommended . A lower fat diet. I like that the I like that the ingredients are good as I’ve always tried to feed her a high quality food. The kibble size is not huge so I’d think that most any size dog would be able to eat this food easily . The price is a bit high for some people.I guess the most important thing is that my old girl likes it. I of course followed the directions and introduced her to this food gradually . She had no stomach upsets with it all.We are two months out from her pancreatic diagnoses and have had no more issues so this food is working well for her.I’m happy. She is happy .Good quality food with decent ingredients and lower fat than many on the market.

Blue Buffalo makes high quality dog food. We have an 11+ year old German Shepherd, "Cora," that has eaten nothing but Blue Buffalo dog food, since we got her at 10 weeks old. Cora just had her annual wellness exam, and she is in nearly perfect health for her age, apart from a little arthritis. I attribute Cora's good health to lots of love, exercise, genetics, and high quality Blue Buffalo dog food. This newest Blue Buffalo dog food is great for Cora, as it is designed for the nutritional needs of large "senior" dogs. This Blue Buffalo dog food has lots of high quality beef, fruits, vegetables, and good grains like brown rice and oats. Blue Buffalo does not contain cheap "filler" grains like corn and wheat (which a lot of dogs are allergic to). Cora likes eating all Blue Buffalo dog food, and this new formulation is no different. Yes, Blue Buffalo is more expensive than a lot of other dog food brands, but as the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for." If you want cheaper junk dog food, with nothing but by-products and fillers, then go ahead and pick up a bag. However, if your dog is family, like Cora is to us, and you want to keep them healthy for many years, then I highly recommend picking up a bag (or can) of high quality Blue Buffalo dog food today. Your furry friend will love you for it now, and thank you for it in the future.

We have our dog trained to expect food in her dish only after a trip outside to conduct her "business." This has usually resulted in three or four trips per day. But her love of this food has her begging to make many more quick trips outside -- even during the cold nights of a Minnesota winter!Reading the back of the bag, the first ingredient listed is beef, followed by chicken and some other recognizable and seemingly healthy ingredients. No poultry by-products. No corn, wheat, or soy. I'm not a veterinarian, so I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Presumably, these ingredients are part of what makes this dog food so expensive. The packaging seems to suggest domestic dogs need to eat like a wolf. But we cannot justify paying this much for kibble when our house dog is happy eating a modest meal.

Definitely keeps my dog fuller longer

Our 10 year old cocker spaniel is super picky when it comes to his dog food. We recently had to switch him to senior dog food as his teeth are a little more sensitive as well as his stomach. Blue Buffalo was always a brand that was on the higher end of dog food, not only in its ingredients but in price. We wanted to give Blue Buffalo a try now that our dog is in his senior years and he deserves the best. He absolutely loved this dog food. His digestion didn't change, which is a good thing, but most of all - the texture of this dog food was easy on his teeth. We definitely will keep Blue Buffalo as his senior dog food from now on!

My dog has loved this dog food since the 1st time I fed it to him.I love the fact that there are no fillers. For some odd reason, I have noticed that this gives my dog gas in the morning but not a deal breaker considering he loves it so much!This is a great dog food although pretty expensive!
