Q: Is this safe for the canvas on tents?

Good Afternoon, We have heard that the RMR 86 and RMR 86 M work great on canvas tents. It could however discolor the fabric so we do always recommend testing it in a small area first to see the results. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Q: How do you rinse this product off of boat seats? I used a wet rag & a bucket of water, it still left residue that when we sat on it stained our suits.

It sounds like you may have oversaturated the area with the RMR-86. We recommend either a hose or you may have to wipe it down a few times with a wet rag. You also need to follow up with a vinyl conditioner.

Q: Will this stain my orange boat steats?

Try the product using a damp cloth in an inconspicuous place first in the shade. Don’t spray on orange surface. It turned out awning bright white. I do feel it bleached it a little as well removing the mildew stains. We saved over $800 dollars using this product. Every time I extend the awnings I thank science for this product.

Q: Is this product safe for stitching on vinyl upholstery?

If your stitching is other than white I would be careful to stay away from the stitching, it may discoloration it like bleach it. If the upholstery is white vinyl and the stitching is white you should be good. Try it on a small spot first, powerful stuff.
