Quality and Convenience in a BACKPACK!
The build quality is a little plasticy- but overall feels pretty solid. The lever seems to function well, even with a large soft box. The menus are easy to navigate. The backpack is OK but holds all the components well enough. The power of the strobes are very good. Being a professional photographer for 20+ years I was on the hunt for battery powered strobes for my field work. And this kit fit the bill perfectly. Very happy with their performance. Fully reccomend.

Lights work great
These are the lights my daughter used in photography in college. They worked great then and these work great for her now.

Product sucks 0 STARS!
The FJ400s are great when they actually work! Having the strobes decide to stop triggering from the FJ-X3M for NO REASON WHATSOEVER is BS! I've troubleshooted. I've factory reset. I've redownloaded firmware. The product sucks and Westcott should be ashamed of how non-functioning this piece of crap is. I shoot weddings for a living. I can't have this stupid nonsense happen on the work day. Having to mess around with some stupid strobes that suddenly decide to not work for NO REASON means I AM MISSING THE SHOT! Being told I can't return them or get a replacement set is also BS. I just paid $1400 for lights I can't even use. They want me to send them in on MY DIME for them to muck about while I'm left twiddling my thumbs with my wallet being lighter and not my photos!
