Really nice tool and does the job very well the blade shop and so it doesn’t move

Needs a chipbreaker
The wood dry up and the blade is now fitting so loosely, there is no way to set the depth of the blade.

Very sharp
My first Japanese pull plane and must say it's extremely sharp. But not sure about the way the blade is held into the block. It's tight in the summer but comes loose in the winter. If you look at the other makers of these they have a better way to hold the blade tight. It's such a shame as its so sharp and so enjoyable to use.
