Q: Anyone got any good tips for getting the tape to stick to the windows, it only lasted a few hours before it fell off!

I've covered nearly a dozen windows this year using the mesh and Velcro kits, and they're all pretty much the same level of stickiness; the tape stays put firmly as long as it's not pulled off for any reason. If it's removed for any reason, even if it's to re-position, you won't get it to stick again for long, so you'll have to cut a new piece. As far as getting the tape to stick the first time, you have to clean the window frame surface really well BEFORE application, so I just use my trusty of Dettol wipes, and use either a dry, clean towel or some kitchen roll to dry the surfaces after wiping very thoroughly.

Q: Can you keep opening and closing the netting, as i want to open and close windows. I need this to partially cover window to deter my cats escaping

Yes you can it sticks very well but what I would say is buy some wider velcro as mine after a few months started to peel off and once it started doing that you could stick it back to the window frame but eventually it would come unstuck again. So I've just bought some wider hook and loop tape to replace it, but the net itself sticks very well to any velcro

The net itself is good! The problem is the tape. The tape has a sticky back and velcro front, to attach the net with, which can be cut to size. Unfortunately, the tape is weak, and the netting, all the netting kept coming off. Same thing happened when I re-ordered. Hope this helps!

It doesn't say on the box, but i thing yes unless the cat is blind ;)
