Really handy
It's been a game-changer for my sewing projects as a beginner. This simple but highly effective tool has made it so much easier for me to sew straight and even seams without having to constantly adjust my fabric. The magnet is strong enough to stay in place on the machine bed, but not so strong that it's difficult to move around or reposition. It's also very easy to remove when I'm finished with a project or need to change the position of the guide.I've used this guide for everything from basic straight seams to more complicated projects like quilting, and it has always performed flawlessly. I appreciate the precision it provides and the time it saves me in constantly checking my seams and adjusting my fabric.Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone who loves to sew. It has really boosted my confidence as someone who wants to really learn dressmaking and quilting.

Magnetic Seam Giude
I saw this and tried it... WOW IT WORKS.What I did was put a strip of clear sticky tape on the machine (to stop any scratching). Then put the seam guide in top of it.This does not stop it working! It is also great to put your pins on the top of the guide when removing them as you sew (pins don't end up on floor or in dogs paws).I WILL buy more as I am now into sewing quilts, the seam allowances have to be accurate, and I have a few vintage Singer machines, which I use regularly. Each one is set to a different seam allowance which saves time changing it.I have now bought about four of these for friends. The links are:(for 1)Hemline Magnetic Seam Guide for Sewing MachinesorIf you want to buy in bulk (10)Hemline Magnetic Seam Guide for Sewing Machines x 10 PacksYou can also get these by doing a search.WELL WORTH THE MONEY SPENT!!I hope this is helpful. Not as good as I had hoped
This isn’t as good as I had hoped - the magnet isn’t particularly strong and so it moves around quite a bit whilst sewing if the material pushes it.

Happy Sewing!
Okay, I'm new to sewing and as you can imagine it can get a bit messy. Wayward just isn't the word for it. So, my teacher recommended getting a magnetic seam guide for a bit of extra support.Luckily, I have a fairly vintage model (the guide attachment is missing) with a metal frame so it works a treat.I wouldn't know if more modern plastic machines can accommodate these or not, or even if they need to. Like I said, I'm new to this game. The magnet works fine, holds the guide down well. You know, I wouldn't even mind it on my fridge door because (hang on, think I might actually do that) - because it has a lovely smiley face on it. So, not only is it a smile to help you along with your sewing it can also double as cheerful fridge magnet. It's kind of cute and versatile, and all for a great price. You know what? Even if you don't own a sewing machine (or a fridge even), I'd recommend this item because who doesn't want to carry a smile around with them?It would be a great idea if these came in different colours. I'd have a rainbow of smiles if I could.Hope this happy little chappy keeps you as cheerful as it's made me.

All seams now straight.
Wonderful- and so easy to use.!Please note , about the non-use with computerised machines.I have one of these, [Janome MC 4900]so I contacted Janome and their reply was that it was safe to use this magnet on or near, the needle plate, but to not put it anywhere near the top of the machine, as that was where the computer was.Suggest you contact your own manufacturer, you may be in for a pleasant surprise. This little gadget makes such a difference .I would say to anyone " If your machine can accept it- buy it"
