I think I'll have to invest in a more professional version. The first one came out fine, but despite having oiled it, the rest were rather mishapen & difficult to release. Also tried with Gold Wax spray, & generally nothing sticks to that!

It's a little smaller than I realised, but it gets the job done. If you get the mix correct it works as expected. It cleans up easy, well easier than the rest of the mess from donut making (my poor kitchen)! It's satisfying to see the donuts plop out!

Hard to clean but nice doughnuts

The batter sticks to the outside unless you spray oil on it before use. I had to shake over pan, resulting in uneven pancakes (the worst!) Also spring is v strong, so I struggled with my arthritic fingers. I’m sure if you are healthier than me, and don’t mind having to spray it, you may not find it as cumbersome and messy to use as I did.

Coated the inside with a bit of olive oil and off i went. The mix i made was a little bit thick but when it started to come out the bottom i lowered into fryer and released. Worked really well for me but was first shot so will be a trial and error thing until the mix is correct

I made the doughnut batter but found it hard to get it in the container. I have arthritic hands so may have to revert to a different type. the same thing when I made waffle batter very hard not to get it all over the place.

My wife and kids are over the they love making pancakes and donuts with this it makes life so much easier

It's rare that I usually disagree with negative reviews on an Amazon product, but this is the only time where I disagree so much that I felt the need to write a glowing review for a product that deserves way more attention.This works exactly as it should. The recipe on the box is perfect, the donuts came out fine (not perfect, but it was a quick/bodged job by myself, and I wouldn't consider myself a decent cook/baker either) and I can't see any reason why the donut maker would deserve a negative review apart from it being down to user error.I cannot recommend this enough. Give it a go!
