Hoya Multiflora Shooting Star - 2.5'' from California Tropicals

The plant came perfectly packaged and arrived days before I expected and it's a beautiful little plant. One leaf is slightly bent but I think it will be okay. I would definitely buy from this seller again and probably will!

I ordered two Hoya plants from California Tropicals (Crimson Princess and Shooting Star). When they arrived, they were in excellent condition and very well packed to avoid injury in the mails. Both plants were clearly healthy, the potting mix had the right amount of moisture; everything was just right. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Good size, soil wasn't bone dry (despite it taking FOREVER to get here, they know what they're doing with that dampened shavings stuff), healthy as anything, packed REALLY well - HOWEVER - my dumdum mailman put this in my locked complex mailbox on a 90° day instead of my shady driveway, when i didn't have to key until 8pm, bc there wasn't ANYTHING on the box that said "LIVE PLANT" (& I think that the delivery guys would be even more careful with it, too, if they knew). Since I had been alerted to its delivery, i made him take it out & bring it to my house, but idk if it would've been in ok shape had it cooked in a tiny metal box surrounded by a bunch of other tiny metal boxes in the direct sun, all day, on such a hot day. Just a thought 🤷🏻‍♀

I purchased this plant from somewhere else & promptly killed it within 2 months. That's really odd because I gave plants from over 10 yrs ago & I buy all my plants in 4-6in pots.So not discouraged, I purchased another one, this time via Amazon. I'm so glad I did. It was packaged much better. In fact, it was packaged so well I had a little difficulty getting to the actual plant. I gently lifted it out of the pot & saw it had well established roots.Idk if it's because of the time of the year or I learned lessons from the 1st or if its just a better plant. But this one grew 2 sets of leaves within in 1 month me owning it. AND I haven't killed it yet. But I'm definitely looking forward to it growing more so I can cut & propagate to fill out its pot as it get bigger.But if I ever get impatient (they do grow slowly), I'll just purchased some more (from this vendor) so I can have a fuller plant.

I wondered if I should order something like this from Amazon. The plant itself looks wonderful and I had high hopes. But it has not grown since I received it. I have followed the instructions.. nothing. Not a cheap plant either.

My little Hoya Princess arrived small but healthy and beautiful! She is already showing new growth and I expect her to thrive just like every other plant I’ve ever purchased from California Tropicals! Every plant I’ve ever purchased from California Tropicals has been gorgeous and they’re always my first choice when purchasing plants online.

Glad I ordered it

This cutting I received was not in a pot, and I have had one before so I know how to care for them. I contacted the seller which told me it was after 30 days. Hmmm plants should live longer then that!!! Of all plants I bought online, this is the only one dying.
