Good quality pure tamarind paste, thick consistency (like tomato ketchup but without any spices). Can easily be added in food preparation.

EditThe tamarind paste doesn't have consistency in the tartness. Some times it is very sour and at times almost bland....So I am cutting down 2 stars for that.My earlier review follows 👇This is very handy when you need imli Pulp for sambhar, brinjal or dahi bhalle etc.Making pulp from whole imli is very time consuming and sometimes even pain in the neck.But this is too easy. Just take out the thick paste and add water and add to the recipe you want.This has salt mixed to it so just take care to add less salt when using it.I wish they have the nozzle fitted to it for ease in dispensation and storage.Otherwise very useful in the kitchen.Hope this is helpful.Thanks for reading.
