Tech savvy
The connection and method to print are clunky. You first have to download the document to mobile device. Then open their app, figure out how to import it and then print. Sometimes it’s smooth, other time it takes several attempts. For the size, price and convenience, I still like it for mobile printing

Works great! But only runs on thermal printer paper
I may have been dumb and not realized that it only worked on thermal paper, but other than that, it is an amazing product! The printer comes with only 10 sheets which is a bummer but 200 only costs 25 dollars. As a heads up, the thermal paper is extremely thin and only one sided. Printing documents works very well and most images seem to print fine. Very dense images do have some issues however. Essentially this product is a giant and portable receipt printer lol. I highly recommend this product if you travel for work, or don't have a constant need for a giant standard printer and only print randomly. Gettin used to the thin paper is easy and its a little weird to write on at first. The main downside is that the paper is one sided. Other than that, great product!

Great for images or photos
The media could not be loaded. First, this printer is well-made and sturdy. The size is perfect for travel. I seldom need a printer these days but wanted to have the option for my office without buying a full-size printer. I was interested in it because I have a label maker from this company which I love. The MO8F prints webpages, cartoons, and photo images very clearly. The photo that I printed was amazing. Note that It prints only in black and white so the images will be monochromatic. Word documents are a little fuzzy, but I’m not sure if that’s due to it being a thermal printer. It can scan and print but the image is not nearly as clear as the other options.I am not very “techy”, so it did take me well over an hour to figure out how to use it. I still am not sure I’m using it to its full capacity. I suspect if you are skilled with computers, it might be a lot easier. To be fair, there is a customer support contact, but I chose to try and figure it out myself. There are several short instructional videos to give guidance.Lastly, this printer can be purchased for letter size AND A4 size. You need to buy the one for the size you need.

Extremely portable, No worry on ink smudges or out of ink
Extremely portable printer that is not only small, it is slim and lightweight. This easily fits into my book bag and does not add much weight. I tried to print a picture and other than the picture being 1 color, the details in the print are fabulous. Because I travel quite a bit, the tiny and light size is a huge plus for me!I have 2 other Phomemo printers - one for shipping labels and another for sticker labels. All of them print well and I do not have to worry about the ink running out (which is a constant worry for me because my normal ink printer sometimes shows low ink levels and I am still waiting for the subscription ink to arrive). So every time I have a bunch of documents to print, I worry if I am going to run out of ink halfway.I also love that I do not need to wait for the ink to dry (since there’s no ink) or that it may smudge.Right now I use a subscription plan for my normal ink printer which I often do not finish using the maximum pages allowed per month but I kept it anyways because it’s cheaper in the event I would need to print more pages, but with this thermal printer, I have just canceled my ink subscription plan to pay per use when I need a color print. Because at the very least I don’t have to worry if I am going to run out of ink. Love it!!!

Works as it should
It was described as a thermal printer and works as it should. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was also referred to as a tattoo stencil printer and it really lacks performance there. It prints ok on stencil paper but careful not to print too much black at a time. Print outlines and dots if possible otherwise it will overheat and cause jamming issues. Avoid printing past medium setting, dark tends to jam.If your printing on stencil paper make sure you remove the onion sheet, the yellow sheet has a tare away area so remove it!Make sure the white page is facing up!Over all it works great. If you’re a tattoo artist, it works but don’t over heat it. Print 3-4 sheets max before jams ( depending on the designs of course) Let it cool and then continue. It prints small lines great, but large fields of black will cause jamming. Could be a potential daily, but not in a busy street shop environment. As a portable thermal printer with its dedicated thermal paper it prints well. Wish it had a higher dpi, other same models say is 200 dpi but that’s probably only on regular thermal paper. As a veteran of 28 years I’d recommend buying one or two as a backup.

Overall good
I bought this with a hard case because at times I have to print bill of lading, permits, or various whatever note on my truck.I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons.1. The app loves to hijack things like excel spread sheets and so I have to go into quick look to view them. Rather annoying.2. It’s really hard to get the paper in straight without something like a table or something larger and flat (like 14 inch by 14 in hes)The printer works great though. It does exactly as it promises, feels well made and sturdy. Simple to setup and paid. It came with a silver bag but because things tend to fall down in the truck I bought a hard case as I said before.I rarely have to charge it which is a huge plus
