I've got a longboi xl, have to use a tote as a litterbox type large. I've had problems with him unable to fit into cat trees and hammocks. My cat really, really loved the window sill in my last apartment and unfortunately our newest one only has large floor to ceiling windows or doors, so his highness was reduced to sitting on the floor to look out of the window. A terrible place for any king cat to be. This perch is holding him as I speak. It was easy to assemble by myself, came with wall anchors as well. I cleaned the window with a magic eraser and dawn power wash first then wiped with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and a paper towel to remove and film. Pushed the suction cups up and leaned against the entire frame and folded it up. It's on my patio sliding door that we use as the main door, it has not budged being moved 5 times a day. Secret to getting my cat on it was to wrap it in a plastic walmart bag, likely to hide the warehouse smell. So far so good. Maine Coone medium hair 15.5lb healthy weight cat has not made this thing move.

The first time that I ordered this, it came with two beds material options. One that is a meshed foam, and one that is fluffy. I wanted a second one because my cat also likes to perch a little bit lower. I’m also planning to adopt another cat soon and I wanted another window seat for him/her.The framework for both is exactly the same, the suction is great. My cat is about 12 pounds and he jumps on and off of it. It’s sturdy and has never had issues with falling off or moving. I have no concern thereThe thing is, the new window perch only comes with one bed option now. The top half is fluffy, the bottom half is that mesh foam. The funny part is definitely thinner and lower quality than the one I originally got. It shed quite a bit when I first got, and I had a vacuum itOtherwise, overall quality hasn’t changed and I have no doubt that my cat can sit on this one no issues. I would still order it given the changes, however, I did prefer the first one that I got.

Opening the box, I was surprised with the packing quality and instructions. Usually, when I buy stuff like this, it feels cheap or the instructions are ugly and confusing. But the packaging and assembly was great! The quality of everything seems great too. The bars and suction cups are strong and I feel comfortable that my little buddy and his hammock won’t come crashing down onto the plants below. I love the idea of the hammock fabric being removable to wash. I don’t usually review things I buy, but with the faith that the product will hold up, I am so pleased that I had to let people know!When setting the hammock up, my cat didn’t take to it right away but once he realized how close he could get to the bird feeders, he was happy to be up there. He would watch the birds, then come back down. But, after a couple days of use, he is hanging out up there and napping! Great way for him to get away from the dog and feel happy in the sun being close to the outdoors.

I turned the patio door into a cat tree by adding three small and a large one; they were easy to assemble, reassuringly sturdy, and the kitties love it. Both girls promptly learned to flip them back down when I had them up and out of the way on purpose, but they do stay up if no one is messing with them. Strong recommend!To mount them, I did soak the suction cups in very hot water while I cleaned the door with glass cleaner, and then went back over where I wanted them to stick with rubbing alcohol. They have held through some temperature changes and being lightly rained on (the beds dried right back out again no problem).
