You're gonna love the results. Package arrived on time and 100% undamaged inside a sealed Amazon bag. Inventoried the Gourmet Pickles box (which looks very professional). I used fresh local farm raised cucumbers and followed the easy to use instructions. I had completed and refrigerated the pickles in less than fifteen minutes. My family enjoyed them so much thaty sadly enough, they're gone. However, Gourmet Pickles will be receiving another order. Home made Gourmet Pickles are possibly the best I've had since my mother made them years ago.

This was fun and easy to use and I really liked the taste of the pickles. They turned out tasting like a hybrid of a pickle and gourmet cucumbers and vinegar to me. I make cucumbers and vinegar regularly so that was a plus to me.The jars were smaller than I was thinking they'd be. I used a bag of organic mini cucumbers and they turned out really crisp, not soggy at all. But even with the ends cut off they just barely fit in the jars.The instructions were clear and easy to follow with one exception. It says to fill the jar 1/2 way with hot water, then add the packet of pickling spices to the hot water, then add spears to the jar and the final step is to fill the remainder 1/3 space with white vinegar. But by the time I got the cucumbers in there, I didn't really have 1/3 space left so I was left a little confused on what to do to correct that since the spicing packet was already in there.I got this for myself but the kit came nicely presented if giving as a gift. I really like the mix of pickling spices and would buy those again in bulk if they were available. I wish more of the packets were included in the kit.

The pickles are tasty, the process is easy, but the cost for two jars of refrigerator pickles seems excessive. This kit consists of two empty jars, two (one use) spice packets and two attractive labels. Then you pick or buy some cucumbers. Follow the simple directions and you have two jars of refrigerator pickles. By my calculations, the cost of these pickles is pricey. This kit does come well packed and attractively boxed. If additional spice packets were offered at a reasonable price, then this be a more attractive choice.

Simple, beautiful, thoughtful and delicious! The kit makes it extremely easy to make delicious pickles right at home. My kids loved learning how and participating. And it is very presentable, so I will definitely be sending this to friends as a gift!

I added some fresh dill and it really helped elevate the pickles! Now I need more seasonings!
