I like the remote switch, but the screws are too short, need to be just a little longer, Hard wire iffy..

Long range operation in a simple effective switch
This switches claim to fame is its compact size and the long distance over which the remote will operate, suggesting this is an ideal switch for outdoors. It isn't, but it easily could be. The attachment is plain screw terminals protected on two sides by the housing, and on the top by an amber, translucent cover which will swing up for access to the terminals, which is a nice touch to prevent loss.Why it isn't ideal is that the entry side of the housing is open. Yes, it will most likely be oriented downward, but for an outside device potentially exposed to wind driven rain, that's not good enough for me. The fix would be simple and I encourage the manufacturer to include it--a rubber shroud that would slip over the wires before attachment, then move up to cover the expose area. Not easy for the consumer to obtain, but very simple to for the manufacturer to obtain in bulk. That would be a five star product. In its present form, its a pretty solid 4

Works as described and at a considerable distance--appreciate that there are two remotes.
Folks should understand that this is not "plug-in" but rather requires severing of the electric cord and inserting the device. For my application it was perfect.

I feel like I'm in the "A Team".
It feels like you're going to set off c4 while chomping a cigar saying "I love it when a plan comes together ". Seriously though this little thing has a lot of uses especially around the farm. From turning on pumps remotely or operating chicken coop doors. I wouldn't put it in wet locations or in reach of children as there's nothing from keeping a finger or nose of a pet from getting zapped. But it does have it's uses and the remotes come load with batteries.
