Do not recommend self dentistry... But high quality tools

I bought this to pull my own tooth because I couldn't afford the 400 dollar extraction at the time.Turns out, that's only a viable solution if you have a superhuman pain tolerance and do not have a raging, rapidly spreading infection. In the end, I found the money for the professional extraction. Half an hour after walking in the door, my bank account was missing 400 dollars but a pain free extraction had completely removed the stress of that horrible tooth in my mouth.Robbing Peter to pay the dentist is really the only option for most of us, even if we try to convince ourselves otherwise. If you know for a fact that you have a superhero ability to withstand pain, and you've done a lot of research on both oralfacial anatomy and extraction technique, and you're reasonably sure you don't have more than a mild infection, this product will likely work. The material is sturdy, hygenic, and easy to grasp/manuever. It ended up being quite similar to the one my dentist used in the office. But you need to be really honest with yourself here before attempting self dentistry. There are several serious risks involved and most of us mere mortals won't be able to pull it off, at least not without botching it completely and more than doubling the amount it'll now cost to fix what we messed up.If you're not most people, Godspeed. If you are like most people and can't self inflict immense pain without blacking out, do what you have to do to get the money to get it pulled professionally.

I saved $464!!

Wow. Just wow. My daughter was having tooth pain and we don't have insurance but I took her to the dentist and paid the $70 to have her teeth looked at. The dentist said 3 of her baby molars in a row were loose and that's why it hurt when she ate (one has a cavity which he assured wasn't the cause of pain yet). He said that they were lose enough to pull ourselves at home. Well, this isn't the first baby tooth I've had to pull out but we all know they're slippery little buggars, that paired with the fact that my eldest is kind of a weenie about pain I decided to buy these to help. These are a huge upgrade from the dirty rusty pliers my dad used to use out of the workshop on me, which I told her as she was SCREAMING her head off. She screamed so hard before I even got them in her mouth that she gave herself a bloody nose. After she bargained with "god" and asked "god" for mercy 😂 and bribing her with $20 she finally let them inside her mouth. Within one second of placing these on her tooth, it just came right out. She didn't even notice at all! I had to tell her it was done, and just like every other time she said "that didn't even hurt". So I'm in this one tooth $36 versus the $150 to have it pulled. Still have 2 more teeth to pull so really a saving of $464! Completely worth it for wiggly baby teeth!

Great grip.

Now, don't laugh, but I use these to pull up those difficult carpet staples in the floor when I need extra help.

It’s ok. Not the best.

Not the greatest quality. Blunt ends make it hard to elevate.

Oral Surgeon

I'm an oral surgeon. I've used these for a few months, no problems at all, get the teeth out just as good as the $200 Henry Schein overpriced BS.

The use of the instrument.

It does the work needed

Does not grip well.

The product seems well made but it could not grip my tooth. The pulling end is a sharp point.

worked great!

I had to have my girlfriend do the deed. I put it on my tooth(wisdom) and she yanked. It was loose already but didn't hurt. Just ready to come out like a baby tooth. I may need it again for my other wisdom tooth.
