Doesn’t set off smoke alarm, works great for mosquitoes. Wish it had wall mounting holes
Super satisfying zap sound. Sometimes a little startling but worth not being stung by mosquitoes. We get mosquitos through the gap in the screen in our apartment. I’ve tried putting up tape to cover the gap but they always find a way in. I hear this thing zapping them all hours of the day. The light doesn’t hurt your eyes and there’s a safety cage. We hung it on the wall with some zip ties and a 3m hook rated for something like 15 pounds. Don’t want to chance this thing falling and my son getting to it or it catching fire to a toy or a jacket or something wild. Would be nice if it had mount holes, similar to the smoke detector in the attached photo. On that note you could probably drill some yourself if need be but it’s would be a nice addition. This thing is the bomb, definitely buy it. Don’t buy glue traps. They don’t work for mosquitoes. This thing works amazing for flies. They wait at the door and come in, they go straight to the light within 5 minutes, day or night. The flies make the most noise! Super satisfying and safe product. Definitely recommend. Worth the moneyThe second photo shows about 2 months worth of mosquitoes. Surprised there’s not more being we hear this thing all hours of day. Guessing they just get incinerated. Also it doesn’t set off the smoke detector but sometimes you can briefly smell their burnt remains. The detector is less than a meter away so there’s no need to worry about any smoke alarms going off on you.

Great Product
I received my bug zapper around 4 months ago, I literally have one complaint about this product. I HAVE TO CLEAN IT SO MUCH! It is doing a wonderful job! I have to clean it nightly! These pictures are from one night! I highly recommend this product!

A bug zapper that works!
These work well. I'm highly allergic to mosquito bites. Too many results in a trip to the ER. But we enjoy sitting outdoors on oir deck summer evenings. We have a total of 5 bug zappers to keep mosquitos from large trees and bushes at bay.

Works. Zaps bugs. Oddly satisfying to hear lol.I have a huge patio so it doesn’t get ALL the bugs but I hear it catching a few. So far so good.Put this in a high bug area with little to no lighting and let this thing do its magic. We leave it on at night in our patio so it’s the only light around. That way it’ll definitely catch their attention…ZAP!

WORKS LIKE A CHAMP!
Texas bugs in the summertime can feel like an all out assault. We would not be able to enjoy our new backyard without this.I get eaten alive by mosquitoes and this thing has made it possible to be outside in the early evenings again when bugs are most active.Very good quality. I’ve had it almost a year and it still works great.I love to hear the little “pop, pop, pop” every time it gets another one!Very happy with it!
