Ordered two of these key fobs. Works great!

At first I had analysis paralysis trying to choose which aftermarket fobs would work for my vehicle and then I finally decided on these (bought 3), no regrets.I was able to program one to my vehicle (2014 Lincoln MKT) with an aftermarket programmer with no issue. I also programmed an extra 2 key fobs using the vehicle manual and the factory DIY procedures without any issues.

A little tricky to get to the battery (which was installed and working).The instructions mentioned a pocket in the center console (of my 2011 ford explorer) but this is a very specific pocket located within. After some research, it programmed as expected.

I bought this key fob because I had lost the only one I had or my 2017 Ford Expedition.I called a locksmith. It took him about 5 minutes to program it. I highly recommend this product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is not working with proximity. can start the Explorer when you put into the slot, but not on your pocket. Can be programmed but cannot transmit RF and proximity. You nee to get the correct patnumber and not the FCC ID.

The media could not be loaded. I had to enable remote start with an OBD2 reader and a free program called FORSCAN. My non keyless car (I have a key to stray) works perfectly with this remote.Both my 4 and 5 button remotes work. This remote enabled me to now use remote start that was already built into my car. The only other thing I had to do was to install a hood switch in the existing wiring harness under the hood.To enter programming for the remotes on my car I had to keep the driver door popped open. Then cycle the key from OFF to KEY ON ENGINE OFF 8 times. The doors locks would then cycle to let you know it’s in programming mode.I then went and pushed every button on my 4 remotes. And then cycled the key to off. The door locks would then cycle again to let you know it’s done.I recommend this product for non push to start Taurus to enable the use of remote start.

I was a little skeptical on this purchase considering the dealer wants over $400 for one. I have a cheap autel scanner that was able to get into the pats system (anti theft) and you just put the remote in a little slot in the center console and tell the car to program it

looks exactly like the picture. it comes with a battery inside so you don’t have to buy a new one. went to the flea market to get the key fob connected to the truck and the charged me $100. Overall, good product, but now there are times where the truck doesn’t detect the key… i don’t know if that’s from the key or the truck…
