This film performs exactly as expected. It helps reduce heat a good amount, but still does let in enough light to prevent the room from feeling too dreary and is easy to see outside during the day. Naturally, some heat still does come in as opposed to using a darker tint, but the difference this tint makes is very good (and kept us sane when our AC went out during the summer!!).The mirror effect is nice and works great. When trying to peek through the window from outside, I would have to nearly press my face against the glass to sort of see in, which would definitely be obvious to anyone on the inside.As is mentioned in the product description, it is near impossible to see outside the window at night. If I ever do have to look outside at night, I need to turn off our interior lights to see out the window. This could perhaps be worked around by having exterior floodlights, but that is just my speculation.It is simple enough to install but, as I am not a professional, it was rather tricky to get most of the bubbles out when installing and I did give up on some of them. If you are concerned with a perfect, non-bubbled tint application, I recommend hiring a professional or someone more experienced to put it on for you.

We received the tint ina well packaged box. The tint itself was good quality and thickness. I applied to my 14 garage windows which face face West. We got this to try and reduce the heat build up in our garage. It installed easily and especially very focused on removing all air bubbles. It’s been 5 days since the install and the tint is holding up tremendously well. The garage heat issue has been reduced by 60% easily if not more. The mirrored tint was the right selection! Very pleased so far and expecting it to remain that way. I will do an update in the future.

Product was easy to install, held on for about 15 hrs. then started peeling off .....WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY .....I am trying to keep it up with scotch tape...... Not my first rodeo with window film....spent $900 on good film 10 years ago ....followed all instructions to the T .....SAVE YOUR MONEY.......UPDATE company sent me a full refund when they saw my review so I changed from 1 star to four

I’ve never attempted to apply tint film, so patience is key. I watched several tutorial type videos and that helped dramatically.My main suggestions are to apply more water/spray than you think you need. Additionally, cut the film carefully, be patient, and have an extra pair of hands to help.I applied a smaller 17 inch strip at the top of my windows and I’m happy with the result. Tinting a larger area/window would definitely be more challenging. I used the blue tint film and I like the appearance and it seems to block a good amount of sunlight.I’d recommend this tint film.

Installation Update: After several days of trying (and failing), I got someone to help me and we found a video with better instructions. The bubbles have to be worked out over and over again. The edges have to be trimmed slightly away from edge to be able to keep bubbles from reforming. The film is still hazy, distorting the view, but the video I watched (from another company) says it can take up to 30 days for a clear view. Will just have to wait and see.1st Impression:I made sure to follow instructions exactly. I even looked up how much (and what kind of) detergent to add to water, since it wasn't included in instructions. I was very careful and thorough to do the job right. It continues to form bubbles and the view is very blurred. After seeing the images of the finished product that are shown on Amazon, the real thing is a huge disappointment.

I bought 3 rolls to tint 7 windows. Upon opening, each roll was full of creases and the precuts were way off. I needed these today or else I would have quickly returned. The creases show up and look’s so cheap from the outside.It’s very disappointing especially with the price they are. I’d suggest looking else where. It was too much of a pain with the creases and the crooked precuts.

The hard part I had was trimming the edges evenly. I put the film on small windows which slid too much while trimming, causing small gaps on some edges. It did what I wanted though.

Moved into our new house and my home office window sits eye level with my next-door neighbors very large yard that comes almost right up to my window therefore when they are out with their dog's id look up and be face to face with one of the family members. I needed something to be discreet and nice and this did both. it was extremely easy to install did not damage anything and all i see is a shaded window however what they see is a reflective mirror but only during the day come nighttime and it is a regular window all over again. I like this stuff and would buy it for any other areas that i might want daytime privacy. If you are looking for something to give you privacy day and night look elsewhere.

Prep your windows properly and this stuff goes on easy peasy, the tiny water bubbles that don’t get squeegeed out right away do go away, it provides excellent privacy during the day, none at night obviously you would have to be pretty stupid to think that it would. I would purchase this stuff again absolutely.

Très satisfaite. J'ai acheté l'argent/noir. Idéal pour chambre, effet un peu sombre. Réduit considérablement la chaleur. Effet miroir super élégant. Doit être 2 pour l'installation, mais Très facile à installer.

This film has tiny-tiny waves, that does not make a clear view through the installed film.

I disliked that you can see through the tint in daylight and it is clear in night time like there is no tint on it.Was easy to adhere. Would be good for keeping the hot sunlight out.
