This sponge is a game changer. I will admit that I was skeptical that it would work. Once I received it, I was able to put it to the test. I love the large size of the sponge. I'm able to easily grip it and it covers more surface area of my hair. It used to take me at least an hour to finger coil my hair. With this sponge, it takes me about 5 minutes. The key is making sure that your hair is moisturized and even a bit damp, before using the sponge. I usually spray my hair with water, add leave in conditioner and a bit of curling gel. Then I sponge my hair. I started noticing the curls pop up right away. The sponge is definitely made for shorter hair. I tried to use it on my son's curly fro and it wouldn't really twist up. I give the Bewave Hair Brush Sponge 2 thumbs up.

First off its pretty nice to have a two pack because I've had some in the past where you only get one and you kinda need two to keep the Nudred look freah. But this coiling sponge that's what we'll call it so everyone is on the same page it twist the hair into a mini dread style for a cool natural look. Of course you have to have a type of grade hair for the this to look right and do it daily like if your was brushing your hair for waves for the best outcome. I love this coiling sponge it works well and it was two sides for two different kind of twist effect.

It is bigger in size which allows for bigger holes that does a better job of creating the curls that I want. Also with the 46 holes I only spend about a minute rubbing my head with it. Now because it is big it doesn’t allow for great portability. It does not travel well when you leave the house. If you hair get messed up, worn thru out the day or you want to touch it for that special someone it takes up too much space in glove department. Can’t have it laying on seat or floor, I am neat like that. So you have to put in trunk. Subtract one star for that.

Way too big for carry-on travel but I just put it in its own ZipLok bag and smash in down in my suitcase. Great product; inexpensive being a bonus. This is a reorder for me. I was a "Doubting Thomas" before I received this product for the first. I questioned how could a sponge work so well. IMPOSSIBLE??? NOT!!! I watched a few video clips and decided to try it. YES...it does work!!! It's inexpensive enough so you too should give it a try. My only disappointment was how long it took to be delivered. Watch some videos and then order this product...it works!!!

The sponge brushes work as expected, but I wouldn't know how the hair pick works because I never received it.

I have been using the curl sponge to twist my hair for over a year now. I've gone through about 7 of them and 2 in the last 2 months. I prefer a small size so I get a smaller twist. I have bought them from beauty supply stores, and from specialty sites. However this was my first time purchasing on Amazon. The quality of these is good, they seem like they will hold up and you get 2. I recommend this product.

I ordered this product after my hair stylist recommended it to maintain my new natural hairstyle. It works extremely well with creating twist and lock hairstyles. It is also very easy to maintain the hair brush sponge. Just use your favorite hair lotion, cream and/or styling gel and the brush as recommended to style. Then you're good to go! I will definitely let others know about this product.
