Season 2 and still working. I have another hose reel in the yard and it is a manually rewind. This auto rewind feature is so much nicer. Makes watering a breeze. It was easy to install using their in-ground spike connector. It also has quick connects for attaching the hose. The setup makes it easy to remove for the winter.Overall, this reel has been a reliable and convenient.

Truly can’t say enough positive things about this. The quick connect; amazing.. no more unscrewing and twisting the hose. The retractable reel; clean, effective, efficient and effortless. The size; perfect, and if you need it to be further than 6’ from the outlet you can always add a regular hose with the quick connects.Truly amazing value, no notes.

Purchased this for my home. The product assembled quickly and easily. The build quality is very good as well. I had to deduct a star because the product leaks from almost every joint. It leaks water where it hooks to the faucet and on the end that connects to the spool of hose. Not a huge leak but at this price point I expect it to not do that.

I hate rolling up hoses and reel carts always leak or are unwieldy. The Gardena system is pricey, but I think it will last a long time.We had to make a "pilot " hole in our hard ground and add water to get the spike twisted in. The spike allows the reel to swivel which makes pulling hose easier. The retraction system is a breeze. The quick connects work with our existing brass quick connects. We will easily be able to store the reel for the winter and it has a cap to cover the ground sleeve. They have thought of everything although I will miss the storage compartment on our cheap old plastic reel.We have not had a pressure issue with the smaller diameter hose, but our water pressure isn't the greatest to begin with. I suppose it would be nice to have a 5/8" hose or be able to wind on your own, but have no complaints.Our foster dog zeroed in on any hose lying on the ground within seconds and had destroyed 2 hoses within days, but strangely enough does not recognize this system as a hose or even as something to chew on! And, with the retractable hose I am no longer having to completely roll up plain old hose to avoid her hose Spidey senses. Lucky us.Overall, I would buy again.

I was very excited about the fact you can place this in the ground no post concrete needed. That part works well. However you have to have the nozzle on that is if it doesn’t blow right off! Yep my nozzle came right off. This hose uses a very different system than others it’s a click and snap system. YOU HAVE TO USE THE NOZZLE, you can’t have it without. However my nozzle won’t stay on. Retracting is very difficult. I laugh that the description says gentle pull and retracts . NOPE several pulls in all directions, fingers crossed cuss a bit and you might get lucky. I have found this product very frustrating. I am waiting to see if the company stands by their products and offers to repair or replace this hose as it’s no good without the nozzle. Pass this one up at this price you can do better!

Perfect for what I needed. Only problem is the screw stake doesnt work very good in Florida sand. You really need regular dirt soil. Easy assembly. Works great retracting hose.
