These combs, especially the silver one, work so well. I couldn’t believe all the bits I got out of my daughter’s hair after the lice treatment. Makes me feel so much better knowing the come was so thorough. Worth every penny!

Bought these to help get rid of my youngest child’s winter-time dandruff. The plastic one worked really well and there was little to no risk of poking spots that were a bit more sensitive (he has a tendency to pick it out himself and he’s not exactly careful to avoid pulling out the hairs with it). The metal ones require a bit more care to avoid accidental poking (especially if the child is as hyper as mine), but even then it doesn’t leave scratches or marks as the tines are blunted so it’s still safe. I was a bit surprised by that given that they were metal. If my child had been dealing with lice, I think these would have worked very nicely.

I got both combs, the NIT Terminator comb and this one, the Own Healer. The Own Healer comes with two additional combs along with the same comb as the NIT Terminator comb, or so it seems.I got both in case there was a difference because I have (very) fine shoulder length hair.The "own Healer" package comes with (3) combs:1) The same comb comes in this package, as the NIT Terminator comb but the handle on this comb is slightly larger for a better crip.2) Another plastic comb also comes in this package that may also be used for dandruff. I'll also try this one too.3) Another lice comb included in this package is the same comb that comes with the NIX lice treatment pack.Overall, I think the Own Healer is a better value. It's $3.00 cheaper and you get two additional combs.The nit comb in this package is very effective, same as the Nit Terminator. Both of these combs are the best for head lice combing in my opinion.I'm making awesome progress and I appear to be lice free with daily combing, but I'll keep combing for at least a month to be sure!

This is a really nice combo kit which I take on mission trips and leave e.g. with the local orphanage.
