Step-by-step Instructions
I am not a piano teacher, but I play piano decently. These books have allowed me to teach my beginner pianist during the 2020 pandemic without a teacher. They step you through which skills to learn and the pieces progress with those skills. The progression seems quite slow, but my daughter isn’t frustrated which is a plus.

Great piano curriculum
Faber curriculum just keeps getting better. They have a reliable, stable foundation that they overlay with ways to help the student be creative. I am now without close music stores, so Amazon is now my main way for obtaining reliable music curriculum for my students. Faber and Faber has steadily increased over the years as one of my favorites. My students love the selections and respond well to the carefully thought out theory, and technique parts of the curriculum. I always recommend them to people just starting to teach.
