Good fun

My grandchildren love the challenge of placing the shapes to build it up. Not succeeded putting every shape without it tippling over yet, but it's good fun trying to

The big tag stick in the front is terrible

Got it as a present for a little boy. The game is great but the game box came with a massive tag stick with my name, price and my address 🙄 I tried to removed it but was impossible. I asked for refund as I couldn't give it as a present 🎁 shame. Now, if you buying it for your own child, go for it! It's a lovely game. As a teacher I recommend.

Good for child who dislikes jigsaws

My daughter does not like standard jigsaw puzzles, she likes to 'think outside the box' but enjoyed this a lot. She is 6 and at the moment is quite quick to follow the hint, but starting to branch out and think about ways she could do the challenge better- for example the road between the 2 houses to her was not a 'proper road', so she set about making her own road with the shapes, I like the thought process this is sparking in her, and am excited to see where she goes with it.

Xciting

Learning Resources STEM Explorers Brainometry is a decent educational tool, but it could use more complexity and clearer instructions. It’s fun for younger kids and great for introducing STEM concepts, but it doesn’t hold the challenge or depth needed to keep older or more advanced learners engaged. It’s good for a short, fun activity but may not have long-term appeal.

Just the job to entice your child away from the computer

This Brainometry game by the Learning Resources Store is brilliant and will definitely entice your child away from their computers. It's currently priced at £15.95Included in the box are 24 different shaped blocks and a pack of 10 double sided challenge cards, so the child can try and replicate the shape on the card, or make their own designThis set has children using their brain to test their knowledge of shapes, hones their fine motor skills and enables critical thinking. They can decide which challenge to go for and build their blocks from 2D to 3D puzzles. Please note this game is suitable for children from age 5, please keep away from under threes due to small parts which could be a choking hazardBoth my 11 year old granddaughter and 10 year old grandson have played with this set, trying to outdo each other with their creations, they've had brilliant fun nor even realising that they were actually learning too. This would make a fantastic Christmas present, happy to recommend
